  1. My problem is nothing appears to have changed since 2011 redleg
  2. Spot on sue. That quote says it all. We are now into our forth year of this non performance and the only constant is the majority of the playing list. As above says we have the poorest list.
  3. It is possible to be lazy and not good enough at the same time wyl.I just don't see that they are good enough. We have Been this way for now into our fourth year under three different coaches. They are just not good enough.
  4. Perhaps jr we could covert his current contract to coaching in 2015.We get a spot on the list and get his salary of the playing group.
  5. Especially as the person starting thread was asking the question was anyone at training.
  6. I don't know WJHowever my faith in the management of the MFC during that period does not give me the same confidence as yourself. The rudder of the good ship MFC was not in good hands.
  7. I decided a while back that Watts has not an ounce of mongrel in him.He is IMO a fair weather outside player. In a good team he would be a good player as he could play quite well as that type of player. But at the Dees when the going gets tough he just lets it all happen. I would trade him at the end of 2014 for a reasonable deal. He is another Sylvia next year is always going to be his breakout year.
  8. I can see we are not going to agree on this DeeZee but lets continue. The Richmond game was a typical practise match affair. I doubt the Tigers we geared up like us and we caught them on the hop. Since then it has been back to the required AFL skill level. Geelong saw that half heart would not get it done at half time and then just up the level a bit and won. Then we saw how good we really were against the Hawks. Repeated again on Sunday. As soon as the other 17 sides get serious and put some pressure on our real skill level is exposed. You cannot make silk purses out of sow's ears IMO I would truly love your theory to be correct but I see almost no evidence to support it.
  9. Lots of first round draft picks don't make it wylWe just seem to have the happy nack of picking a higher percentage than most. Also we have had very few seasoned players to support the kids. When we started flinging seasoned players at the end 2007 and replacing them with kids we started down a track that has lead Directly to the disaster that is our list.
  10. They way our luck has been running I would suggest ALL
  11. I think it is a " they gave a party and no one came " stuie.
  12. The one that really bugs me is the must pay 95% min. Of the salary cap.We are paying big money to a large number of players that would not make it onto any other AFL team list. But that is another story.
  13. We could have an hour discussion on that one chookrat and at the end of the hour neither one of us would have changed their mind. So best I just say I don't agree.
  14. Sounds like me at the Amos on Saturday Melbourne who?
  15. Against the union rules Maggot You can forget that one.
  16. That should not be that hard DF Anyone who can actually play 100 minutes week in week out will give better value at probably half the cost.
  17. Wish I had promised $100 a game would be on the "committed list" and be home free.
  18. It is effectively happening at the start of the season DF Cannot get on the park has the same effect on results
  19. DeeZee training is like dancing with your sister. I have seldom watched a side anywhere that don't look good at training. A large number don't have the required skill level required at the top level of the game. IMO it is that simple.
  20. Sounds like a good day coming up jazza Where is it played?
