I said on another thread I went today. A couple of observations King was running straight 100 metre sprints on the other oval for about 30 minutes when I first got there and then went in. Salem is IMO the best kick in the squad by some margin and Nicholson the worst if only Nicho could kick! If McDonald was a good kick he would be All Australian, does everything else very well. I agree with bb Tapscott was in the best five today at training, he looks a $million, marks well kicks well covers ground fast. Why on Earth he is poor during a match never ceases to amaze me. I though Gawn was a little off today seemed to drop the ball a lot. Might have just been the roles he was playing near me but Frawley looked less than 100% into the drills.

And unless thereare mystery injures I reckon that is where they will be. Based on Roos actions up until now I think Dawes In Toump out.

As long as they pay who cares.

Desperation!

Watched this guy at training today here is a big statement He is easily the best kick in the team. After watching numerous crappy kicks come to the MFC over the last decade he is a revelation.

Sorry to disagree with you MN but from my observation the majority of crappy kicks stay that way. I watched Salem today and I would put him in the exceptional class for kicking, not matter the distance he is kicking it goes to the right spot every time. Also watched Tapscott keenly, he was exactly the same as most times I have seen him at training. Looks like a Champ both Physically and in execution, is a real pity he does not take that in the game on match day.

Just checked the " Match Day Info" part of the MFC site. Makes no mention of paying extra for any member and lists the Normal seating members areas for a home game at the G. So from that I assume situation normal for MFC members.

Situation with McDonald is a little different to Dunn and Frawley unlike them he is not a free agent. It would be harder for him to leave as he would need to be traded. I think he will stay , his agent may have been waiting for the new AFL funding situation to become clear. Now both Him and the club now know how much money is in the pool. I went to training today, if this guy was a good kick he would be all Australian he does everything else very well.

Very good result IMO he was more important to retain than Frawley. having said that I want Frwley to stay. Saty I can say with confidence that I do not haver to eat humble pie on Dunn. Have always been a supporter even in his darkest hours. I don,t believe I have ever uttered a bad word about him. He has always had one very big thing going for him. His kick, accurate and long when needed, seldom wastes the ball.

Think I have the wrong hand shake DF!

Just finished my Steel cut Oats and banana breakfast. I doubt there is a better way to start the day. I am off to training tomorrow morning as I cannot get to the game on Monday. I need football fix as there are no VAFA games this weekend and I was in QLD last weekend and we had a rest the previous weekend. Getting desperate to see football live even if it is only training.
