I was suggesting Sassy that Frawley does not have to appear to be a [censored] he has agent to do it for him. I am confident the MFC will offer what they think he is worth. If someone offers more and he takes it well that is the way of Free agency. It can work the other way of course, a bit harder for the MFC to pull it off at present but if we keep improving our day will come.

Me too It does not seem to worry the better sides that they don't get a pick till late in the first round. They seem to stay up in the top half dozen. IMO it is way more important to pick well when your turn comes around..

Saty I often agree with you but I truly struggle with this " one cannot criticize anyone" For god sake this is a fan site where people give their opinions. Lots of people on here have opinions on players I don't agree with. I don't tell them to say nothing because I don't agree. If I think something I will say it like almost everyone on here. People can disagree that is what giving opinions is all about and I am happy that they give a contrary opinion that may change mine.. If you only want to hear the company line stay on the MFC web site.

I agree with you nutbean However I would add that we still have a number that are not good enough to get us higher on the ladder. Yes they all may have improved but the best from quite a few will still not give us a team capable of moving out of the bottom three or four. A lot of changes are still needed

Age is a relative thing dc. The MFC have made me old beyond my years. After Sunday working at my Daughters house I feel as old as jazza suggests. I am too poor to stop and If Mr. Abbott has his way I may never be able to stop.

The problem for the likes of Bail and a number of others nutbean is they are out of contract this year. We have to delist probably five this year. How long do you go on waiting for them to progress? Now I think Bail may escape the cut if he keeps the form of the last couple of weeks going. But some of the others who are only average at Casey look to be in trouble IMO.

I agree he would not be best 22 at any of the above. When he is not best 22 at the Dees we will definitely know we have improved. I agree he has improved this year but IMO still not good enough to make a team who sit above the bottom five sides. We have a few like Bail who have improved in 2014 but not enough to enable us to beat teams, even ones in a similar ladder position to ourselves let alone the good sides. Of the players in a similar position to him I would probably give him another contract but he will only ever be average IMO

I think there is a very good chance he is going to get one. The problem is I doubt it will be at AFL level.
