After the last month I am of the opinion that Paul Roos and the new FD are getting the best that this list has to produce. The problem is that for a large number of them their best is marginal AFL ability. We are still two to three draft periods away from having a list that is capable of pushing into the top eight. We just have too many VFL level talents. Poor skills cost us the last two games the errors were committed by the regular offenders. They have to be replaced.

Never a truer word said Robbie numerous people decried your early comments on Cook and we know how that turned out. He is getting to the point of having difficulty hearing the band. However he is contracted for 2015 so next year will be make or break IMO.

Have not been on for a while. This thread currently has about as much life as our results. Where is everyone? All OS? or hiding under the doona to escape the cold. Hell I wish I could there is a bleak couple of months ahead before the thaw sets in. Anyone alive out there?

The problem is not Casey it is the quality of players both MFC and Casey. We are a bottom four side with a bottom four list, the majority of our players playing at Casey currently are hardly world beaters. Add the kids Casey provide and you have a average side. Would it be any different if we had our own reserves side? I seriously doubt it. We would have the same ordinary MFC players plus we would have to find and pay another twenty or so players. The simple fact is we have an ordinary list and cannot afford to field our own side.

To start with it is bloody freezing and there is no snow, I cannot ski Not sure they deserve much more than the occasional slow hand clap. Bring on the trips to warmer climes and after waiting half a century the MFC can wait a week or two.

I was just suggesting that there may be a difference in the player skill level between Mckenzie and Watts, Dunn , Jetta, Pederson that would justifying why people have a different attitude.
