  1. As I see it bb there are only two- they continue to play him as though nothing has happened but unless nthere are injuries it will be in the forward line. why take hiom out at either end of the ground there is no one who can give a better result. as well we need every win going why decrease the chances? - drop him to casey, don,t think it would happen as it is dead set give away he is leaving.
  2. Saw Roos on the TV tonight firmly putting the pressure on him, said it is time to say if he is staying or not.
  3. We might have the same friend dc.Fortunately got on the patches and now off for four years
  4. I just updated this laptop to windows 8.1 yesterday and now it will not let quote to anyone's comment. Any idea how to fix this problem?
  5. I saw him at training a few weeks back and got a similar opinion Redleg.
  6. I have a number of friends who are loosing interest in the AFL ( I include myself in that group ) There are two main reasons - The way the game looks - This debacle with Essendon and sundry events. I am just so tried of the whole thing and it shows every indication of going on for some time yet perhaps even years. For God sake can we get to the end please I am so tired of it.
  7. Not sure why but I am finding it hard to attached comments to the original at present. However R and B I think his comments sound fairly accurate. I am all for keeping JF but not at any price. I have confidence in this management team to make the right decision. I would prefer he stays but we now live in the brave new world of free agency so it is more than likely he will go. If he does I bear him no ill will he has IMO given his best to the MFC during a very poor period in our history.
  8. I think you know I am being very light heart on this subject. I don't want to play in anything but the traditional Red and Blue ( ie Red not Maroon, Pink or Orange ) I guess I am getting worn down but I actually don't mind the current away jumper.
  9. I did not see it but heard similiar. Can you expand Mr. Leg Sir?
  10. I do support teams outside of Red and Blue bb.What is important in my previous comment is you make major changes to sporting teams at your peril. Would pies supporters follow their team if it switched to the Melbourne sparrows and played in two greens? I doubt it.
  11. Moving to the MU as a base for the club has a slightly better chance than a new facility at Docklands.Pipe dream stuff We will win a flag before either happens. Why is everyone believing this HUN article is a reality? Most of the time Demonlanders decry the HUN and its reporters as having no idea. But on this article they seem to be suggesting it is a done deal.
  12. Sounds like what the Melbourne tigers in NBL are doing dc.I am a long term member / supporter who goes to games. Nett result is I doubt I will have any interest next season. After supporting the Tigers in yellow and black for 30 years nothing else will cut it I am afraid.
  13. You appear to be on the money Toot 182.No surprise here that the HUN has taken a small amount of information and turned it into the Bible. The only surprise to me is that the item was not written by Robbo.
  14. Hey dc we still have not won in that last century jumper I notice! It is inevitable dc get on board with the move to the White red and blue
  15. Melbourne Uni has a good ground which is shared by Uni Blues and Blacks in the Amos. Ground is ok but the facilities are not much improved from the seventies. Would need a large amount of money spent and IMO would be no better than what we have at present.
  16. After a check Mr Leg I can advise that we have Half Wits, Nit Wits , Dim Wits and No wits even the occasional DH But no F--- Wits. Phew that was traumatic I thought he might have been a relative.
  17. Might be in the same family Redleg.I will have to consult the family tree, I will look along the "wit" branch. More shortly
