  1. I am dyed in the wool RN. I am taking a big risk with this question but keen to see how the Weid is playing!
  2. What's the score? Sitting here in Hawaii there is sadly no coverage.
  3. Amazing the view from 14 hours away, this thread has only six pages just a few weeks ago it would have 30 by now. Winning is an amazing thing! Go Dees!
  4. Astounded might be a better word Steve!
  5. I have seen him play at Casey four times live last year and twice on tv. I went to the first game this year wiseblood. In fact if you check my comments from the game against Coburg you will see I praised him for a good game. Best I had seen from him. It is possible to have a poor opinion of a player without being biased. While stats are not everything it is hard to ignore his results in the games he has played so far.
  6. Two hit outs R and B hardly a big help. Amazing the difference Tmac has made to the forward line.
  7. Wise I am not barracking for his demise but I have seen nothing the last two weeks that justify his inclusion in the team. How long will you play a guy with 6 possessions? and was against one of the poorest sides going around. Carrying players who consistently give little to the result will bring us undone against the better sides.
  8. That's the thing about fan sights. They are all about opinions.
  9. Wise blood he is useless. What did he do today. He had the lowest stats of 2 kicks, 4 handpasses and 2 tap outs. Any other 6 foot+ on the list could have got more than that. Hogan and Tmac don't need him. They need someone who contributes.
  10. The reason it is easy is because the Weird is giving us nothing. Viney on one leg would contribute more. Any other player would give more than 2 kicks and 4 hand passed. Are you suggesting he should stay in the side. If so why? He is clearly not up to top level football.
  11. If he continues with 6 possessions he won't be on the list In two years time.
  12. Gil thought that on day 2 Mono. This whole sage is a good example of why sports should not be in control of policing their drugs policy.
  13. And we are playing a poor team. The Weid is playing in a forward line where he is clearly the third best tall so should get the third best defender. If cannot play a reasonable game this weekend then he never will IMO. It is put up or shut up time.
  14. Why we seem to have adopted a new forward line game plan to the one that produced good results last year astounds me. We almost played finals despite a lot of injuries. Why the big changes?
  15. IMO it is his, I cannot believe that every week the other players are in the wrong place. It happens most weeks.
  16. My quotes are a bit like our ability BD. p I ss poor
  17. We won most of our games last year without Gawn, he wins lots of taps but most go to no one and does bugger all else.
  18. Vs the dud picked this week. he has played two decent games at Casey in his career. First was half a game last year against Bax Hill and the second against the worst team in the VFL two weeks ago. he will need to put a 1000 % improvement over his games in 2017 to be effective. Yes we have to give the chance but I will be amazed if he even earns his spot tomorrow.
  19. There are always exceptions but IMO if you are short you have to be very good to make it at AFL level and again it is only my opinion but he is not very good.
  20. I have seen the two games he has played in both he was among the best however there are lots of occasions he is just to short to get the better of taller players. He knows how to get the ball, so he knows were to go and how to get it but gets caught a bit. He is not slow but I would not put him in the top 25% of players for speed on top of that he does not have a penetrating kick, 35 meters with 40 at max. These are all just my opinion others will no doubt disagree now I may be being a bit unfair after two games but I do not see a senior level player.
  21. I have been there a few times over the years and on every occasion it has been windy, cold and just for good measure showers of rain sweeping the ground. So I will take your word for it. I have never been to the Port ground, driven past a hundred times but never gone in. End of next week I am off o/s for five weeks so my match attending will come to a close till after QB game. However I have to say I enjoy the VFL games now more than the AFL, so much easier to go and low crowds and you are up close to the game.
