  1. You have low expectations Steve
  2. Too bloody short with average skills.
  3. A couple of mm is max. Will be excellent ground condition by 1.45. Heat will be the problem not rain.
  4. After a shortened preseason for a number of our better players and poor preseason form I will be happy with a one goal win. We are lucky not be starting the year at Geelong or we would start 0 and 1.
  5. By 2022 he will either be the chosen one who lead us out of the half century failure era or sacked like 95% of coaches. Interesting times ahead.
  6. Well he started in Red and Blue well Maroon close enough.
  7. Back in the dreadful MFC days of the seventies I went to as many Carlton and Collingwood games as I did the MFC. In fact it might have been more. I came from Bendigo and we were in the Carlton zone so a number of Bendigo boys played for the Blues and they had a knack of beating the Pies in finals. Add in my soon to be wife was a Pies supporter and I enjoyed going to games with her and her mother. They were usually good quality games to watch which could hardly be said for MFC games, the main reason I went to Dees games was to watch Mr. Flower . Basically if the Game was not at the MCG I did not go. Remember in those days games were still played at St. Kilda, Moorabbin, Nth. Melbourne, Windy Hill, Carlton, Vic Park, Footscray, South Melbourne, and Hawthorn, so basically every other game was away from the MCG. Great youthful days.
  8. Hmm you still think it was him driving the change?
  9. If that were true I would not have supported the Dees for the last half century!
  10. I am not a united supporter DF, gave away the nbl when they closed down the Tigers. Have no interest in basketball in Australia any longer.
  11. Have you looked at the three after this game?
  12. Got the stutters bb?
  13. I have the feeling we are have not yet worked out how to play the new 666 system. It would appear we have picked.players to suit regulations that have now changed to a significant degree. On top of that we have had a number of players recovering from major surgery. I think that our last half of the season will be better that the first half. I suspect that by the end of April there will be a lot of disgruntled supporters on Demonland
  14. Spot on, while we remain fixated on close to MCG I cannot see anything changing.
  15. Very happy to risk all of the above DD.
  16. Talk is cheap WWS. On this subject I will believe when there is an approved plan. Until then it is just more of the last half century talk. Am I cynical on this subject? YES.
  17. Is this still going?
  18. Gee you are worked up two weeks before the first game bb. If you keep this up you will be spent before May.
  19. Rude, crude and unattractive Mr. Shadow.
  20. That covers it DD.
  21. An increase is an increase bb
  22. Jag is one of the few luxury brands that increased sales last year, when the likes of MB, Audi and BMW are falling they must be doing something right.
  23. I doubt 60k is real unless we win a flag in the next two years DJ. There are just not that many Dees supporters out there after half a century of dismal results.
  24. 70k is a pipe dream, will not happen until we win three flags in the next decade.
  25. Not a good start to his time at the MFC, will need a good game in round 2!
