You are making assumptions that I believe will not happen. We will not get a replacement game against a team like the Bombers it will more likely be the GCS. I cannot believe that one new member will be acquired it 2020 because we have one more game at the G, winning is what drives membership and nothing else. After 2019 we will struggle to get to that level in 2020. As for winning after the Darwin game we were absolute crap for the majority of the time we played in Darwin we could not win anywhere any time. Surfice to say Mr. Leg we have opposite views of the benefits of playing in Darwin and I doubt either of us will change their view.

To cover the play of 720 players, almost 2 " journalists" ( I use that term loosely ) for every player. Do they pay a fee to be accredited ? Is the only reason I could see for having that many.

Seriously Jackson at FF by round 2! From what I understand he has never played at FF. I also understand his marking is average. Second round 2021 is perhaps a chance but he would need to play blinders in the preseason to be in the team round 2 in 2020. I will be astounded if he plays in the senior side this side of July 2020 and he will only get a game if two things happen. - He plays way better than most expect in 2020. - He plays because existing players are injured / hopelessly out of form. He is a junior Ruckman who has much to learn about playing against the big boys.

Under Mr Taylor we have not made many mistakes unlike the previous crew. However his mate on the other end has got till June 2020. If we do not have a 50/50 win loss ratio by then I will be officially off his band wagon.

Have they spoken to the catering contractors? Seem to me they would sell substantial less in a ten break vs a twenty minute break. Are the AFL going to reduce the fees they play to compensate? Let's not kid ourselves this 100% about the TV companies and as usual the fans / players are running a bad second.

If you look at the success rate of drafting in the first round it is amazing how often the players who are picked don't make it at senior level. You are correct the recruiters are the best ones to judge but they have a high failure rate simply IMO because you are making educated guesses. The MFC has done reasonably well in the last few years but nothing is guaranteed.
