Well having only seen the highlights it is hard to judge but as much as it embarrasses me to say it Spargo earned his spot last night it would appear.

North were down to 20 players for most of the last half, but ten goal wins are good under any conditions.

My Dad told me a long time ago that poorly skilled sides can match it with better teams by determination and effort but by the time the last quarter rolls around they get tired and superior skill takes over. IMO that is what has happened the last two weeks. Now for the pies!

Tmac has proved he can play the game at a high level. The Weid never had until his games in 2020 , excuse me 2 games in 2018. You didn't notice I was calling for his inclusion in round two and the following two? TMac has proved he can compete in the Ruck, you don't have to be Max's level just provide a good contest and let the midfield players do the rest.

WE are talking about the main Ruckman at centre bounces here, Goldstein is a very good Ruckman he will take the kid apart. Jackson is 18 continue to play him in the forward line doing the ruckwork deep then he will get most times Norths secondary Ruck.

Honestly think you would throwing Jackson to the wolves at this point in his career. I think Tmac is the best option he did ok back in 2017.

Then Tmac replaces Gawn, if my memory is correct in 2017 Max was out for eight weeks and we won five of them using Tmac and a few others. Losing a Ruckman is not the end of the world when you are playing an ordinary side.

They are 189, 188 and 170 cm. you don't think any of them are a little short to replace 208 Gawn?

I am actually surprised we have nearly 40k. Round 1 was in WA then the league shut down. There are a lot of members that buy in the first few home games. Then add our crap performances and no chance of going to a game for the year and it is all explained. We had Better get very close to finals or there won't be 40k in 2021.

He fits the bill RN but every second week you get very little. The trick would be to know when it is going be the other week and only play him then.
