  1. North, GCS, Collingwood, Adelaide, Sydney, Geelong, Essendon, Fremantle. Hawthorn.
  2. I have been saying for months that this season will be disrupted DJ. It only takes one state to shut the bordet and all the plans get thrown in the air. Look at the girls comp. at present.
  3. I really believe they will win a flag before we do.
  4. I was not suggesting we do rjay. I just gave my opinion from limited occasions I saw him. It is tough to judge him on 2019 when he lost a lot of game time injured.
  5. That is a very large lining BBP. I watch 7 without sound. They annoy me more than the team we are playing.
  6. I have said elsewhere that WA have an election the week before the main season starts. You can bet the WA premier will be tough about virus lockdowns till then. Don’t assume anything about WA teams playing anywhere until after the Election.
  7. I have seen him a number of times at Casey however they have generally been when returning from injury so I have tried not to judge because of that problem. Only the very good show out on their first game back from injury. Then like a lot of others last year was a wash out for him. From the limited games I have seen I have serious doubts but that may be a very tough judgement. I don’t see any skill that would hurt an opposition team. This will be his third year he will need to impress IMO.
  8. Contrary to most on here LH I don’t mind Carlton. Now here is the background to that statement. I grew up in Bendigo and played football there in the sixties and early seventies. At that time the BFL was in Carltons zone and they did very Well with players from that area. The Blues were always my second team, I played for Eaglehawk who were the blues as well so I liked Carlton, in that period they could always be relied upon the beat the Pies in games that really mattered. I had lots of Collingwood supporting friends so seeing them lose to the Blues gladdened my heart. It did not hurt of course that RDB was the coach . As has often been the case in that period the Dees could not beat time with a stick. The only time I hate the Blues is when they play us. No MFC and I would be a blues supporter.
  9. Well 25- 30k are allowed at the Tennis so surely in a much bigger venue like the G should be ok for 50k. Assume the home club gets 2/3 of that number then 33k would see most members catered for each home game.
  10. I have to say I agree with you Deeoldfart. Well I managed to watch about 20 minutes of the game. Usually last 5. The skill levels and scoring has improved. Not sure why but I just don't feel commited, might be that they have been around 3 years vs 60+ for the men. Or perhaps it is because I watch on TV that I don't enjoy anywhere near as much as going to a game.
  11. You won't get an argument from me dl4e.
  12. Don't disagree 58 but the Tigers have the best song IMO.
  13. Be careful of the PC. Shouldn't that be Ruck person?
  14. Hate to disagree with DG. But Tigers have easily the best song.
  15. Seriously , seems rather laid back to me, might be just me.
  16. It’s just you. Sorry could not resist Df. I was thinking the reverse an hour ago!
  17. And you have to pay to get in for the first time this year.
  18. I received an email from the club today about attending the girls game at Casey. They state that there will be a limited number of tickets available but nowhere do they list a number. Does anyone know what the number might be?
  19. After the last year 58er my interest has waned considerable in football in total. With the total uncertainty about how the season will unfold I am not jumping out of my skin about the coming season. I am not being negative intentionally but I have heard all the things about how we will go in the coming season before but experience has taught me not too over expect from the MFC.
