I just deleted a long comment. I remembered we are supposed to be talking about football.

I do too Bda in California and London. We are in heaven here by comparison. If the football is messed up I will put it down as a small price to pay. One lives in Butte County California approx. 300 000 people. They have had more deaths than all of Australia so far.

A very good question LDC my layman's answer is I think a player who is uncontacted can go anywhere as long as he and the club are in agreement and the club has a spot. So Saw could train with and then GCS could s ay to him come and join us we will pay you more and you have a better chance of regular gamed. But I am not certain that is the law.

Two things DD. The skill level has risen considerable ( well with some teams ) I watched part of this years first game. Being locked up again I was tired of Netflix etc so decided to give it a go. Result enjoyed it. prediction there is a lot higher chance of the girls winning a flag than the boys in the next couple of years.

Every time a Victorian moves to QLD the average IQ of both states rises.

Of course they might shoot themselves in the foot and end up with nothing in Tassie. Playing brinkmanship can result in one side losing. I cannot see the AFL adding a team this decade. The talent pool is already stretched too far.
