  1. Well girls and boys it is on tonight. I can hardly wait for all the big announcements. New home is resolved and first dirt will be turned in 1st April. All future elections will actually be democratic. Expecting to make a big profit on winning the flag this year. Hell I can dream can’t I?
  2. Even though I dislike the second one with rare intensity they do cater for their supporters. Carlton gives more off the field than most.
  3. He would know the truth if it bit him on the [censored].
  4. I have a holiday booked for the last week of March but I have less confidence it will happen then us winning the flag.
  5. That last one is the big one DJ. What happens when Freo comes to play us in the first round do they have to stay here? Are we allowed into QLD at the moment ? I have lost track.
  6. Thanks Picket you have first rate determination to see them in practise.
  7. My wife and daughter went to the comedy theatre on the Thursday before the lock down it was a full house with not social distancing and few people wearing masks. How does that work? My wife's theory is that there are no cameras there for it to be seen on tv.
  8. If it is ok to go to the dogs ground yesterday to watch the girls / tennis match why is not ok to go a ground to watch a practice match?
  9. I have never taken off my scarf BA. However there has been occasions when I left it home.
  10. Sadly I am way over 30 ET but I agree. I have bought things likes pullovers with a small MFC emblem on the chest. On my last visit to the store ( 3 years ago ) I asked why nothing was available. The very nice man told they don't sell. Only large garish stuff sells. Says something about our society I guess.
  11. It is difficult to see WA being anything but painful. However that might work in our favour with wa teams being stationed in Vic. For weeks at a time.
  12. Probably accounts for why I have so little LN.
  13. They would need deeper pockets than me DZ.
  14. You have a lot more faith in state premiers than me BBP. Just look at 2 weeks ago. They shut Victoria out in a couple of hours flat. WA has election the last week of March they would shut the door in ten minutes. QLD they shut us out everytime someone catchs a cold. As for our home state. The tennis crowds were lock out at the drop of a hat just ten days ago. IMO major changes to the schedule and location are a large possibility until mid year at the earliest.
  15. It's more difficult to slit your wrists with a clever. But perhaps that's what they had in mind.
  16. There's a 15% discount if you go in this week SL.
  17. I am blaming the aging process but I don't remember. No doubt you will show me. But apologies anyway.
  18. The. Tassie premier has an election coming in the next year and he is using it to show he is strong and will stand up to the AFL. He cannot now back down in front of his electors , he has won round one by the AFL’s non answer. A game of brinkmanship has commenced and I don’t believe he will blink. I think North and Hawthorn will be very light in sponsorship come 2022..
  19. And unless they show brilliant form in practise matches neither should they.
  20. It's not a case of how many in the ground but will the games be in Melbourne.
  21. No idea I just know from the past that early good form results in an up turn to membership numbers. Is it possible you make a reply without a dig?
  22. I am reminded of never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
  23. Yes AFL has told clubs to be prepared for constant changes to the schedule and to be prepared to spend multiple weeks away from home. My comment is not aimed at people on Demonland we are rusted on. But there is a substantial group of Dees supporters who wait to see how things are going early in the year before they buy a membership.
