No you are not I wonder about the same thing. As well I think we are greatly over estimating the ability of a number of our players. It may well be that we simply do not have the cattle. I am tired of being told how young a large number of the players are. We simply struggle to match any team higher than the bottom eight. I have little idea if DB is a good coach or not. Why? Because I struggle to seperate our ability and his game plan/ability I do think we should be giving the better sides more competition than we are. Hawthorn was a ten goal loss Geelong we will struggle to keep it under that. Carlton will be a ten goal loss West Coast will be another ten goal loss. If those happen I suggest we have lost ground since last year. We have not pushed one of the better sides since Sydney in round 1. With our draw this year we should be doing better. What does all that mean? IMO We do not have as good a list as we thought. Who constructed this list? DB Unless we win one of the next three games or push a couple of these teams to close results it is time to move BD on IMO

I liked him and was disappointed when he left. Must be a chance at GWS They need types like him while their young list develops. He will be back in the seniors on Saturday week so we can play him back into form!

I doubt he will have any impact of the type we need before 2014 at the earliest ( if he makes it ) In the mean time we have approx 70 games of football to win. We need a strong seasoned player to help win a large share of that 70 games. having a forward line full of kids will not get it done over the next 3 years. A 30 year old Barry Hall is exactly what we need while the kids develop.

Sorry DC I do not agree with you. I think this is a problem that has been with the Dees for too long. Guys like AD have to learn to earn their spot. IMO he has not done that all year before the injury. It is not as though he has only been out of a week or two. Again IMO we have been let done all year by our more senior players. Don't drop a kid for him. Let him play at Casey this weekend and get some fitness and touch back.

Redleg I am struggling with this Why? He has not played in weeks Out with a leg injury which must mean his fitness will be down. On top of that his form before the injury was poor. If I was the player he replaced I would be more than a little [censored]. I would even prefer JB before him at least he would be fit.

I agree with your concerns DD however the management of Stynes, Schwab, and the board have done a very good job over the last three years and I trust them to do the right thing. However I would like to know how the MFC intends to solve some of these problems

Then you have my sympathy RR to see the drop kick done well was a thing of beauty. Over the years the Dees had some players who were very good. The big problem was that not many players could do it well and it was deleted from the Game because if you could not do it well it resulted in a turn over and in modern football that is the ultimate sin. Re injuries I have never heard of anyone injuring their toes. I did a few my self over the years ( even in "the slippers" ) and not one injury.
