There is an interesting note this morning on the MFC web site re the AGM. It notes the meeting will be addressed by Don Mclardy, Cameron Schwab and Mark Neeld. No mention of Big Jim. This does not sound good or am I adding 2+ 2 and getting 5

You have my 100% support DC. Perhaps I am just too old but I prefer that there was a limit on the number of subs allowed. IMO the sub rule has been a major contributor to having 36 players in one half of the ground. I hate that more than anything else about the modern game.

Had a knee Op just before Christmas and back on the bike last week wyl. Slowly coming good. My wife tells me to fire up a dees player would have been back in full training 2 weeks ago. Only difference is about 45 years!

My pray list is getting a little long wyl! not sure I have time for one after - Davey returning to form - Green back to 2010 form - Grimes and Tappscot staying healthy - Fitzpatrick firing up - Clarke being worth the dough we are paying - you know who getting more than 4 touches a game - Cook getting a game in the Casey seniors - losing by less than 10 goals at Geelong and the dees having a game plan that they can implement. Not sure my knees are up to too much more time beside the bed.

If you take iD they will check you off the 2011 membership list, I don't think i have every been asked to show my membership. I should be in QLD on Wednesday but the floods have messed up that plan so will be off to the AGM as usual. Looking forward to seeing/ hearing Neeld and company in person. I am hoping for an announcment on the missing sponsor and who the "Football Director" is. This position has now been vacant for over 12 months. The rumour is Healey but who knows.

I am both Dee Dee and I did not get an email so do not worry to much about not getting an email. From memory I think you have to have been a 2011 member to get in. So if you are interested in going take your 20111 membership along and I think they will let you in. Anyway it is time to renew for 2012!

All you say may be true but if you going on hating it consumes you. My father was on the Kokoda track in 1942, for years he would not allow anything made in japan in our house not even a cheap toy . By the 80,s he had a Japanese Car, TV and numerous other items. When I pursued him on the subject he said "How long can you go on hating". Live goes on, I have had my quota of hate it was making me as bad as the people I hated". Put it all behind you guys, the MFC is more than one person.

It is not so much the time frame that worries me billy it is the extreme anger that some still roll out at every chance. I can understand that in October but it is now close to the end of January, time to concentrate on the guys in our team.

So from that comment H_T I can only assume that we are not allowed to discuss a draft selection at the end of year 1. So is it ok to discuss at the end of year 2? Or perhaps we have to wait till year 3? Perhaps someone who goes early and ends up being right might actually be more 'Intelligent" !!!!!!!!! Sorry but in my view we can discuss a drafting decision at any point without being unintelligent. If you go too early then you run the risk of making a error and having to live with that comment.

Mate if you are refering to the Captain announcement then it is a hell of a wait just to do both together. If it is not early next week I have a horrible gut feel that we do not yet have the required Sponsor to announce
