  1. It is painful to note that GWS has sort of developed to be our natural rivals. Like Collingwood used to be many decades ago. I wish I could yawn at the thought of this game but I sweat thinking of the consequence if we lose. I can't bear the thought of seeing all their brats going into wild celebrations if they win. I hope the shame factor will give us the edge for a win no matter how ugly.
  2. We could host a Mardi Gras. Great for tourism. Imagine 10,000 Sydney Queens descending on the town. We can have a Queens parade for pre game entertainment
  3. Does this mean he wants to be a terrorist?
  4. I kind of lost some respect for Cameron Ling. His always affable public persona showed a few cracks when discussion drifted back to the Weapons past links with Geelong.
  5. i just wonder if Schwab is Stockdale's silent partner?
  6. McVeigh is just there to give the Essendon POV. A foot soldier for their spin and propaganda.
  7. The weapon was tipping as much dirt as he could without incriminating himself. Some prior arrangement was likely made to ensure that AOD-9604 was side stepped in the interview.
  8. Fine Cuban rum. Havana Club or Santiago de Cuba. Scotch is for [censored].
  9. The weapon obviously trying not to incriminate himself. Very [censored] off fellow traveller at best and scapegoat. Hird, hcw can his massive ego take this? His wellfare of concern. Ling, very prickly and defensive. Hiding something on Geelong's program? Dodging, ducking and weaving everywhere by all the experts.
  10. Someone is going to top themselves over this.
  11. cheers mate, you have come aboard at a time of rare unity.
  12. I 'd love to know what was edited out and left on the cutting room floor.
  13. Essendon should now be renamed ST JAMES INFIRMARY after the sad classic blues song. Hird will have six substance shooters as his pall bearers.
  14. Hmm........ Almost 98% in favour of Jackson on the votes. Thses are numbers only dictators. get.
  15. Malthouse was saying today that there may be a significant pruning of their list at the end of the season. And hinting at some biggish names going.
  16. Hird was saying WC, Collingwood and the Hawks were maybe "biologically advanced" before his dodgy program according to the Hun. Perhaps so but they are yet to be caught and there is no evidence or proof. What is certain now though is that Hird is squealing like a stuck pig. Too late James.
  17. The members and supporters did have a big say recently and they still do though maybe not through official protocols. MacLardy said so himself as one of the reasons Schwab left was because he lost the supporters. A vote was not necessary. Given our perilous financial state Stockdale has also failed to outline where his money shot is going to come from.
  18. Well then he and his club will burn. At some stage soon he will be sacrificed.
  19. My prediction. Since the powers at the Bombers are making noises to fight it out and more tellingly trying to embarass AD, the penalty will be harsh. Loss of premiership points for this season and most of next season. Suspension of players. Multi million dollar fine. Draft pick penalties for the next three seasons. Of course there will be a hefty discount if they see the error of their ways, take their medicine and help this issue disapear quickly off the agenda. If they fight they will lose a war of attrition with the AFL. This is something for Hird to ponder if he has the genuine interests of his club at heart.
  20. Based on output and value Mundy is worth at least 2 Watts. He is already a made player at his peak and essential for their tilt at the flag. Watts is only worth a nor here nor yet there player. Yarran and some juggling of picks as you say is a more likely deal.
  21. If he goes I will not be too disapointed and I believe he will. We can't afford to be patient anymore with his type even though he may still turn out a handy player. His only bargaining chip is his No 1 status which seems to have some magical influence over the football community. So we will have to pay overs for the steadily diminishing hope that he will live up to his No 1 status.
  22. Another reprieve for Trengove. Only the players that are performing seem to get injured. Thats why he is still playing I guess.
  23. I've had a few bucks on him for a long time now. Do I worry? .........not.
