  1. AFLPA trying to open up a pathway to get Petracca out of the club and to elsewhere? I could see a grievance case coming on. Which will be settled out of court so to speak in Petracca’s favour.
  2. We know he doesn’t kick too many goals but……bang, bang, bang!
  3. As long as its hands off [censored] before put on socks.
  4. I can sympathise with Tracc to a certain extent. A couple of decades ago I had a serious health issue leaving me unable to work for many months. I had disliked my well paying job and being absent from work persuaded me to leave my employment and try somewhere else. Having issues dealing with recovery and the thought of returning to that hated job was too much to bear. I do see some similarity to the Tracc issue and it demonstrates to me that he really doesn’t care much for us much, would rather be somewhere else and the situation is not likely to change. I just cannot see everyone being all luvvy duvvy and pretending all is fine next season. The cure for hating your job is to move on.
  5. I saw Robbie once in my local milk bar. Looked too skinny to be a footballer.
  6. On the subject of media pile on, back in the old Herald and Weekly Times days their chief football writer was the legendary Alf Brown. Only he was privileged enough to have his own office in the sports department. One day a copy boy took offence to an article Alf wrote about a player whose name now escapes me. On a weekend when the office building was empty he went in there and had a [censored] inside the drawer of Alf’s desk.
  7. We need younger players with solid experience but with little or static improvement since 2021/22 to step up to the next level. They include, Sparrow, Chandler, Bowey, McVee and VDR. We need the chop out ruckman problem settled as it’s been stuffing up our key forward set up.
  8. He needs one of these inserted for the next 12 months. We need to know which clubs he visits.
  9. I wouldn’t be too worried. AI soon will be able to delete him from the 2021 premiership video. We will just see the ball that formally was in his hands do amazing things by itself.
  10. What superficially read like a statement from Tracc that he wasn’t going anywhere kind of now looks like his status within the club is in a kind of holding pattern at least till the end of the finals and draft window. All it has done is placate fans somewhat and dulled the media scrutiny. If nothing happens and he stays this thread could go to over a a couple of thousand pages by this time next season.
  11. I as many others don’t have much of an idea of the inner machinations of leadership at the club. We hear snippets here and there about so and so. Max has been great. I’d leave to the club to decide and forgo an opinion.
  12. So far Petracca has been able to separate his game with his emotions for the club. Despite his issues with club and players it’s never really impacted his game in a negative way. Hoping next season we still see the best of him on the field and his thoughts kept within the club and private.
  13. Reminds me of when I was kid and refused to go back to school at the end of holidays because I hated the nuns. My dad said I will go back. The next day I went back to school. I had no choice.
  14. The get deal done for unders is the most likely scenario IMO.
  15. I was once accused of being Yze Magic because I joined Demonland on the same day he was permanently suspended. I can assure you I am not him either.
  16. ha Ha, purely co-incidence
  17. If you are still around jayceebee31, it was a great prediction.
  18. He’s too smart to take on the job. Being a professional talking head pays well with no accountability.
  19. Many people have forgotten about the Bulldogs in 2014. The club was going psycho, sacked the coach, senior officials left and an exodus of senior players. Won the flag two years later.
  20. There should be automatic financial penalties for players who wish to break contracts. A portion of their future club contract is returned to their previous club as compensation. They still will be well paid anyway so can’t moan about hardship.
  21. As I said a few times in the past. For favoured players and clubs, I suspect errors in wording and structuring of the charge are deliberately introduced so later the charge can be dismissed on a technicality. The ‘wrong hand’ charge I have seen more than several times before.
  22. His ACL derailed his career. Lost his pace and manoeuvrability.
  23. 8 games in the past two seasons makes him worth blunt steak knives at his age.
  24. if the club don’t appeal it will be an egregious betrayal of Kozzie and all the players by the club. The incident was purely accidental. The charge should be dropped in its entirety.
  25. He doesn’t miss the Sunday roast. He now can afford prime eye fillet and aged wagyu every day of the week. Losing him wasn’t the biggest problem. Failure to cover his loss even with a journeyman ruckman is. Was very ordinary today in a must win game.
