  1. I would normally be critical of your petty pedantic nitpicking Demonstone , however, that is certainly an example of where some work is needed! I particularly like the juxtaposition of that peculiarity and the background sign referencing "Bakery Hygiene"!
  2. Young people especially need support and guidance..... but ultimately you're correct Steve ..... we must take responsibility for our own actions.
  3. and ..........let me know if it's not full.... I'll send a couple of insults.
  4. Does the brand matter ANG? It's working.
  5. Pm's are a great feature. You can abuse other posters with lower odds of getting banned.
  6. I must say I'm surprised that this thread hasn't gone absolutely ballistic. Just consider this. We have an umpire , an umpire, arrested over the leaking of voting information for the AFL's most prestigious award and ...... the award is based on umpire's votes! Further, as a couple of posters above have indicated, the possible wider implications of this are enormous. This could go as far as questioning the integrity of the competition! It is a bombshell !
  7. Hahah well done LDC! The infamous World Series did spring to my mind when I posted above but I did not remember the key figure's name. I was thinking an Australian equivalent might be fixing the Melbourne Cup or The Boxing Day Test
  8. IF an umpire is involved, this shapes as the biggest scandal ever in AFL/VFL history. To say it is staggering is wildly insufficient!
  9. You are on the money as usual Dazzle! In @WalkingCivilWar 's neighbourhood quaffing spewmante by the schooner is considered a trendy wine tasting.
  10. I did indeed picket and ...... as usual........ your advice on matters alcoholic is exemplary !
  11. But why Red? The "squeaky wheel" gets the oil. Are we not squeaky enough? Is our profile not important enough? I thought having contacts and getting funding etc was one of Roffey's strengths. We appear to still be an irrelevant club. I'm not having a crack at you here - I just don't get it.
  12. A pessimistic optimist, I would say dc.
  13. Perhaps ...... err ..... a visit to one of The Manor's special functions might broaden your horizons WCW? !!
  14. .... and I always thought such behaviours were peculiar to certain soirees at The Manor.
  15. I watched a fair amount of last night's game RTGand thought the same thing. I'm wondering whether the umps have been instructed to keep the frees down. It certainly adds to the play on free flowing nature of the women's game. As a poster noted above the women's game is evolving in its own unique way . This is a good thing of course as it will always be "different" to the men's game
  16. Fair enough Saty, no doubt you've seen a lot of him at Casey. Nonetheless, It's the big time that counts and I'm keen to see perform on the "G.
  17. The club clearly has big plans/hopes pinned on this kid. His development over summer and, hopefully, his debut next year will be fascinating to observe. I hope he's as good as many on this forum have claimed.
  18. Just noticed there's a new emoji thing available on Demonland. It is now possible to admit, "I've got the clap", without shame.
  19. Mmmm ..... Latin. Were you once an altar boy Stiffie?
