  1. What the [censored] has leadership got to do with it ? We've got good leaders! We want Grundy to play good footy . Simples !!!
  2. Bobo , I have taught aboriginal (Koorie was the accepted term then)kids in both high schools and KODE schools. I have life examples of every point in that article that both support it and deny it. High horsed support of the oppressed Koorie kid is just as irrelevant as higher horsed support of the notion that Koorie kids fail despite all the help they are given There are no solutions that fit all cases. In my experience, the notion of family or kin is far more important than the notion of being black or Koorie or aboriginal. This of course complicates the matter even further. My point is, avoid generalisations, the matter is far more complex.
  3. Hey Frog, how's it going? I read your recent post about your electric wheelchair. You know if I was in Westralia , I'd let the tyres down!
  4. I use a parmesan/pecorino blend on The Manor's signature spag bol !
  5. Sadly no Red. As I've been unable to garner support for our new training facility etc to be located at Romsey, I doubt that would work.
  6. Beware dc, nothing is sacrosanct these days!
  7. So let's bring in a nineteenth team to prop up for years!
  8. Don't be smug dc, the AFL will find a way to tax your gorgonzola.
  9. Not only that dc, it will cost the AFL a [censored] load of cash! Get ready for a jump in the price of a Footy Record and pies etc for the 2023 season !!!!!!!
  10. Can't help but love the sh it show that is Essendon. I was hoping to see a premiership live this year and was gutted when it didn't happen But [censored] me , the goings on at Essendrug continue to ease my pain. You couldn't script it - it's a thing of beauty and delight. High fantasy ! If it was a tv soap opera you'd never leave room. Just wait for the next episode. 2h I for one would like to take this moment to thank Thorburn for his contribution to our club as CEO - it was a truly glorious time, as we didn’t lose a single game during his tenure. 2h I for one would like to take this moment to thank Thorburn for his contribution to our club as CEO - it was a truCacanly glorious time, as we didn’t lose a single game during his tenure. 2h I for one would like to take this moment to thank Thorburn for his contribution to our club as CEO - it was a truly glorious time, as we didn’t lose a single game during his tenure. c 2h I for one would like to take this moment to thank Thorburn for his contribution to our club as CEO - it was a truly glorious time, as we didn’t lose a single game during his tenure. 2h I for one would like to take this moment to thank Thorburn for his contribution to our club as CEO - it was a truly glorious time, as we didn’t lose a single game during his tenure.
  11. That is a fair dinkum power spew! Pity he wasn't upright - may have Brocken a distance record or two.
  12. I wish the world had more people with your decency and compassion Luci.
  13. He played some good footy at Casey in the second half of the season. When in the ruck he showed some composure in tight situations and was able to get an effective kick or handball away. Whether this will translate to the top level is the question but , as he is under contract, hopefully we will get the opportunity to see.
  14. Was there any real hint or indication of who we're chasing, apart from Reg Grundy?
  15. Go on - get into it! Two sheilas having a catfight - great entertainment.
  16. Didn't he play a couple of games down back for the Dogs? As I recall he was at least useful in that role. As a forward ....... well he makes a good defender.
  17. Not a lot of interest from the comments above. Good solid player from what I've seen. Experienced and has 5 or 6 years left in him. Could be the other winger we've been looking for.
  18. This is certainly the key We are supposedly in a premiership window - let's see what the club has planned.
  19. Bloody hell picket, are you on the juice early or still [censored] from last night?
  20. I agree dc but I can't help but wonder if there are any notes, "minutes"or any other record of those crucial meetings where the alleged incidents took place. I very much doubt it.
  21. I'm not sure Graeme ......but Worksafe do have wide ranging power when they are investigating a workplace.
  22. Not only that Luci but the newspaper article this morning claimed "materials seized" by Worksafe. What are these materials? Will the AFL panel have access? Will witnesses etc want to speak to both enquiries? The Worksafe enquiry has legal validity. Is the AFL enquiry now compromised or even superfluous?
  23. Bedford has a lot of potential. It should be developed at the Dees! I would be both [censored] and sad if we lose this bloke!
  24. I watched some of the stream but it dragged on too long. I was also disappointed that they didn't show more of the audience as I was hoping to see @WalkingCivilWar. I reckon she would have been easily identifiable . A deranged looking ranga with an autograph book the size of The Pink Pages and blinding all with the constant flash of irritating selfies.
