One could do worse than follow his enlightened path.

I will not bother with your preceding comments but this particularly is weak. It was never suggested that booing etc was meant to put opposition players off their game but rather, that it is simply something that supporters do - often as a cathartic process. Do not bother trying to point score with spurious and irrelevant comments - it only highlights the paucity of your position.

Clayton Oliver - Round 1 Rising Star Nomination
Bitter but optimistic replied to dees189227's topic in Melbourne Demons
WOW!!! -
Not sure how sticking the boots into Essendon will " spoil the upbeat vibe" of Saturday's win. You can wallow in that misery if you wish but as a supporter I can enjoy both.. As to "booing or name calling", well it seems to me that most supporters do at least one of those on a regular basis. Achieve anything ? Well it makes you feel good and show support for your team. I agree with you about enjoying the footy Saty but we may do it in different ways and if that upsets your tender morality then frankly IDGAF!
-
FMD Saty. Has Stuie lent you his bible to read and his moral high horse to sit on?
-
Good news. He is a crucial player for us in terms of pace, goalkicking and an x factor. Hope he plays every round.

Back on topic please!

Oh ... and just to add to any confusion from the conglomeration of posts above, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT listen to Biffen when he gives a "sure thing" tip on the races. Now excuse me while I put my idiot's cap back on and give my ( poorer but wiser) self a jolly good flogging.

Love your work 'luded!

Finally recovered from the ....excesses .. excitement of Saturday at the G. Bumped into Biffen pre game and couldn't shake him off so consequently had to put up with his loutish and drunken behavior throughout the afternoon. There were good looking sheilas nearby and your old Uncle might have struck up a conversation were it not for my immediate company. Anyway, as if sensing my discomfort, Biffen proposed a post game celebratory drink and offered to shout. (That is, shout something other than obscenities). We decamped to an absolute dump of a pub where Biffen purchased a bottle of horse [censored] that had apparently been mislabeled as Shiraz. Well I had to reciprocate ..... What has my life become .................?

After yesterday's game, I reckon Oliver will pick up a nomination before the season is out.
-
Can't argue with much of that Joe!

We won so I don't reckon the boat will get too much of a shake but Brayshaw is best 22 and must come in. Someone else can work it out.

Demonland Player of the Year
Bitter but optimistic replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Viney. A power house and arse kicker. Jack Watts. Absolute class when he is "on". N. Jones. He does the business when it is most needed. Ben Kennedy - Thank you recruiting staff. Big Max. Shut down Mummy and did a couple of good things. T Mac- a good job in a sometimes ragged defence. -
Just home. Still a bit [censored]. No negatives tonight. We have won a first round without some good players out and from a position where we might have tossed it it in previously. Some highlights for me were Jack Watts who looked a mature classy footballer and contributed all day. Jack Viney contributed all day - his muscle in the packs is so important. How did Collingwood let Kennedy go? Big Max took a couple of grabs and did not let Mummy dominate. Heavy work from Jones and some class from Bernie. Hogan looked all at sea a t times but lifted and kicked three. What will he do when he is having a good day?

Uncle Bitters is well coiffed and just warming up the Merc! Hoping to avoid scrofulous types like Biffen by sitting in the members today.

FMD!!! If you are that old picket you should be dead. Doesn't matter though, Hemingway is dead and he still posts. DC has relations with the almost dead and he still posts. Moonie is brain dead and he still posts. Biffen is morally dead and he still posts. Lawyers are ethically dead and they still post. I'm getting depressed and must retire for the night.
-
MMmm, I suspected you were the type who would be into dolls picket. (Not that I have any moral objections to that you understand)
-
You are a shameless cad dc!
-
That's a big early call Jack!!
-
BTW Biff. All debts will be revoked if you send me pics from the teenage birthday party.
-
Arrgh Biffen - back from the dead apparently! Rumour has it that as a result of the Gat closing you are opening a house of ill repute new business venture near a major regional centre. Is this true? Could you possibly survive the aroma of gum trees?

Looking for fresh meat dc?
