  1. Geez Goldie is still a warrior.
  2. [censored] me ! That was no mark !
  3. Saints are missing gettable goals
  4. Good start to the Aints!
  5. There'll be S + M at The Manor post game !
  6. We've won two against no one special . Today ( and next week )will give us a real clue as to where we stand this season. Are we any good? [censored] yes we are ! Dees by 27 ! This will include a blinder from Jack Viney and four goals from Kozzie. The Manorial staff all have rather fetching red and blue Bunny outfits for tonight's celebratory after party.
  7. Viney is a genuine tough footballer. He is no sniper, nor is he a choose your moment hard man. He plays the same way all game, every game - see ball , get ball regardless of who is in the way. He provides team lifting , match winning moments by example. Every team needs a Jack Viney. Thankfully he is a red and blue blood.
  8. Fair chance ! The front on vision will [censored] him. He braced and turned into Cunningham in my view.
  9. We did what we had to when required, in the face of a scruffy opposition and hot and cold umpiring. Trac, however, was consistently a class above. A win is a win is a win and a strong finish is what good teams do. PS I think the Fox commentators may have given Hawthorn the 4 points !
  10. My take is badly winded and will be sore tomorrow.
  11. [censored] commentary on Fox!
  12. Norf are playing "premiership" footy! They missed a couple of set shots or Freo would be buried. Amazing
  13. It's actually very difficult to single out one because I vehemently hate all the other original VFL teams. However, I do reserve a particularly nasty place in my bowels for Collingwood, Carlton and Essendon. ( I don't mind the Swans and the Giants ) When a decision must be made though, I just can't go past the particularly appropriately named "filth".
  14. Sadly I will be an armchair supporter today. A major point of interest will be the handling of Petty and BBB. Unless lubrication ports have been installed in BBB' s knees ( the bees knees) we know he won't get through an entire season. We all hope Petty is fully recovered , but, we've all seen those type of injuries become recurring problems. And then there is Tmac ! Maybe today will provide some insights into how these three are going to be managed. Today's result? The Hawks aren't mugs but if we are serious a comfortable 35 point win is on the cards!
  15. Sadly, my head says the filth will win tonight ..... but .... my ticker would love those [censored] to go zero three !
  16. I was at the game and was astounded by the decision. Is this what some ( obscure ) rule requires or did the umpire , for whatever reason, simply choose to bounce at that spot? Could one of our resident rules experts explain this please? @daisycutter ?
  17. Good post Dgirl ! It is a terrible set up and destroyed what was usually a good game day atmosphere. We members/supporters have been [censored] around just to accommodate the media.
  18. On the train from Scumbury- a surprising number of Dog supporters! They are looking far too smug and happy- I feel very much like handing out a jolly good thrashing or two ! Hopefully I’ll arrive at the G in time for a couple of heartstarters with @Moonshadow ( poor company I’ll admit)
  19. Just finishing off a little soiree at The Manor. Good night all round and enjoying lashings for desert. After a quick kip, your good old Uncle Bitter will be up and about to watch the Dees clean up the Doggies. The highlight for me today will be, Kozzie's return, Clarrie's improvement from last week's run and Max bouncing back. I'm also keen for Hore to go well - as I thought he was stiff when de listed. The Dogs are no mugs and if the Dees are a bit off it could be dangerous DEES by 27 points.
  20. Mine says tickets are "not ready yet". Try it tomorrow Hell ...
  21. Toiges looking good at this stage. [censored] I hate Carlton.
  22. Thommo out of the squad ! [censored] if I understand that. I would love to be a fly on the wall in selection meetings because ,honestly, I just don't get some recent decisions.
  23. I quite liked Cox when he first started at the Filth ...... but he's developed into a first class [censored] wit. Something to do with the company you keep I suppose.
  24. Quite right old . The gap between a good amateur and a top line pro is light years in almost any sport.
