  1. I read this this morning What an unfunny [censored] waste of time and paper Journalism ! FMD !
  2. You'd reckon Grundy will be going flat out to prove his value to the team.
  3. That's a confident call from Trac !!!! It's usually "one week at a time " stuff .
  4. The filth would hate this because they'd actually have to travel to Cat Park - in fact everybody would because all Geelong games would, henceforth, be played at Geelong.
  5. There's not enough nastiness, abuse and back stabbing on this thread!
  6. Three "normal" games from Petracca will do the trick
  7. I’ve just waded through 5 pages of the paper bagger’s posts. Surprisingly nothing obnoxious as yet. Mostly about selection. Cerra seems a focal point with opinion divided on his availability Is your Cerra in based on the info from DQ, or you have other little birdies? Cerra in would be massive for our team. Cerra won't play against Melbourne possibly week after. There is some concern over the Petracca matchup Can Noodles contain the beast that is Lasagna Petracca? He is bigger, stronger and faster than any of the players Newman has matched up against in recent weeks and he is undoubtedly the key to a Melbourne victory. could Kemp take the Tractor? Think Cinc is the way, he’s strong AF & can damage on rebound if Petracca doesn’t pay him attention. And on our selections With their injuries think Grundy might be a chance to return. Oliver hasn’t played in months so how match fit will he be? They’re hitting form at the right end of the season as well. Wish we had some options to lighten the load on Cripps, Doc and Charlie somewhat but we need them to give it all for one more game at least. Game will be one and lost in the guts, like just about every other game these day's. Oliver will apparently be back for them. Had a look on the dees thread, some are saying Schache will come in for the injured Petty. Tomlinson and Hibberd are being talked up as possibleinclusions. Melbourne just lost petty. No Fritsch. Grundy and brown the only two left to play key forward. I don’t think we need to play weiters marchbank and kemp. I’d drop marchbank for Boyd. In General Knock this mob off and we’d have beaten 3 of the top 4 sides……just saying. IMO, Melbourne are the team to beat this year. They are quietly doing what they need to do. If we are to beat them, we will need some players back. A good start would be SoS to assist Charlie and Walsh to go into the middle. This will be an interesting match for us. This game looks to me now like a fifty-fifty affair. Coming down to the gee for this. Bring on Saturday night, I cannot wait. PS - it is still mathematically possible for us to finish 4th. Double chance. Pies first up! PS . While I have opened this thread, I will not be continuing with it as I am heading to Thailand ( for spiritual enlightenment ) tomorrow. A volunteer or volunteers are therefore required. PPS. Perhaps @binman , my advisor on thread protocol could take over ?
  8. King missed a crucial goal ( again) that may have changed the course of events
  9. What the [censored] are the Saints doing in the eight? They are [censored] stumbly , fumbly [censored] ants !
  10. BT just then " an indecisive decision " !!! FMD !
  11. Saints are soft. Letting the paper baggers back into this far too easily
  12. A very shabby start - hope we've got that out of our system !! Then the big guns said enough is enough and opened fire - Max, Viney , Petracca and Brayshaw. ...... but what about Kozzie ? Fair dinkum, a few moments of Kozzie magic cures much of the pain we MFC supporters have endured over the years. I reckon it's happening this year !!!!!!
  13. I was referencing booze gate Red. I thought he might get a DCM over that !
  14. Just read OP and now I understand ! I shall repost ( rather than riposte ) my previous confidence. Just because there has been a number of very odd results recently - it means nothing to what the Dees will do today and we shall not suffer the fate of other recent favourites. The only matter that concerned me was the possibility of ****ty Taswegian weather evening things out somewhat but @DeelightfulPlay 's post above has reassured me! I confidently predict a 60 point win.
  15. Hey ! I'm a reformed man Bin! No bans or points since ...... well ... last year and what goes on with the female domestic at The Manor - stays at The Manor. (Mostly)
  16. Hey guys, take the discussion of libations to "NoTSNoBS" thread.
  17. The latest update from Norf. Whisky drinkers please take your discussion elsewhere. First the Optimists Same, first Tassie game ill have attendeded. I've got a good feeling about this week… I give us a sneaky chance against the scum next week. …there is always a chance Melbourne try a few different looks that give us some breathing room for the boys to get a roll on and make a fist of it. We’re due a surprise win, go Roos! A hint of masochism. Ill be tuning in because I’m a ******* [censored] I'm heading down with a couple of Go Dees siblings. Expect this will be like a root canal without sedative Fortunately I won’t be anywhere near a tv at that time. Otherwise I’d be tempted. I’d rather be in a gulag in Siberia than watch a minute of this game. Acceptance of the inevitable I’ll be 200ks off the Qld coast fishing. No phone/TV service, boat doesn’t have Fox thankfully. Wonder what I can plan for the remainder of the year? With last week's game I reckon we're all back to being the husks we were during that streak last year. Which means every goal will basically feel like a win. Woohoo This playing group is ripe for a belting. I reckon it’s gonna get ugly and early. May, lever and Tomlinson are going to destroy larkey and get a intercept mark record I'm not sure another beating is going to do a lot in terms of confidence. 40 points is just about party time territory. Forward thinkers or fantasists ? (with a whiff of nostalgia ) Would both Grundy and Brown be gettable? My childish dream is BBB coming home. People may laugh but he'd be a better support for Larkey than an unavailable Charlie Comben or CCJ. Strongly agree. Understood the circumstances but hated him leaving. Opportunity for Grundy to get to know his new team mates next year? A tone that maybe familiar to Demonlanders Dawson still no go even after he was very good in vfl. Must be banging someone's daughter Anyone that pays attention to where people are named on the field is an [censored]. People who actually have the ability to pay attention know we do stupid things like name Powell at CHB. One change after that s**t show.. really?. Maybe we need a flogging for changes to occur Lose to the worst side in the competition... NM selection - nothing to see here... all is well. I know there’s nobody knocking the door down but jfc how is Turner still getting a gig? Turner, they are taking the [censored] Silver lining of the club treating selection as a joke is that we can, free of guilt, do the same with the game This club is a joke. Really lost me at the moment. It's just not clear what the club is looking to achieve in the short or medium term with recent selection decisions or the message they are trying to send to members. I hope they get their selection s**t in order next week, because we are a chance to win against another bottom 6 team at home. When Kayne was selected last week, my first thought was that we're tanking. Zero selection integrity at this club and its been that way for years, really starting to s**t me. Another week of baffling selections. We’re either tanking or taking the absolute [censored]. It seems a notable Demonlander has some influence in the Norf camp !!!! So I'm left stewing, taking the positives as they come, and resetting next year after they've hopefully had the fear of Beelzebub struck into them during preseason @beelzebub
  18. I had a big luncheon at the Cosmo in Trentham with disgraced Demonlander Biffen. Of course , ! had to pay - FMD ! Not sure how I got back to The Manor but I've put a shiltoad on the dogs .
  19. This is a sad and pathetic post . FFS man up !!!!!
  20. I've put my hard earned on the Dogs tonight.
  21.
