  1. Well this is a big one. I'm not sure how good the Scats are but ... neither am I certain how good we are. Consequently, your good old Uncle Bitter is sallying forth from The Manor tonight to find an answer. I believe we will win this game on the strength of our superb defenders. Dawkins has been quiet of late and , you would think due to fire, but if he escapes any flailing elbows, May will be too good. There's been speculation about who takes care of Cameron but I reckon it has to be Tmac. He has the tank to run with him and the body work and nous to counter Cameron's expected advantage in agility. Our mids will win ( Danger out helps ) and surely Viney is due for a big bone crunching impact game. Forwards ??? Hopefully Petty finally finds some form and some goals. I'm not sure about Disco yet but if he can snag a couple in this setting we will know a lot more. Hopefully one, or ideally both of the above get into the game early as it will take some heat off Fritta and allow him to do what he does best. He is our key forward. Kozzie, as always, will have the defenders on edge and a couple of goals from the mids will also be welcome. PS. Rohan is a prime goose. Dees by 19 !!! ( A red and blue leather party follows at Romsey )
  2. They can keep Harry. I'd have the other bloke though.
  3. The "Duke" on Flinders Street is always good for a heart starter and a snack but give yourself a bit of time in case it's crowded.
  4. It can happen dc - in the excitement of the moment - as I'm sure you would understand.
  5. Well err .... thanks for that saywhat. I'll take The Manor's vintage Ford Prefect for a run and contemplate.
  6. That question Dub, is the AFL equivalent of "What is the meaning of life" ? ( Or any other unanswerable conundrum that comes to mind )
  7. Sounds like a type of whip to me.
  8. I certainly need it Dub. My account is still recovering from the loss to Brisvegas
  9. Hope not Dub ! Swans are my last leg of a multi.
  10. How sweet. Carlscum getting a sniff and then having it snuffed out.
  11. All over for the Blues. How sad
  12. Zac Tuohy , about the only Scats player I can tolerate .
  13. The filth = the filthier. Go figure.
  14. The first half was a particularly scrappy shoddy affair and our play matched that. I'd like to think it was simply an aberration. I can say one thing for certain though deaver - the next two games will answer ( or create ) some very important questions about our standing as a serious competitor .
  15. We'll take the 4 points but , sorry to say it , that was [censored] woeful !!! I lost count of turnovers at about 500. We must do better than that !
  16. Can we possibly turn the ball over any more ??? !!!!! That [censored] point just cost me a lead every quarter punt !!!!! [censored]
  17. Only one team out there according to Fox commentary
  18. Yep. Viney went straight at the dirty little [censored] !
  19. Saves return trips to the bar when quaffing shiraz deaver .
  20. Did you have halitosis issues at the time dc ?
  21. Well thank you Red. It is very pleasing to learn that my avid readership is learning from and, hopefully emulating, my example of good taste.
  22. I would prefer that you describe my fetishes as artful Goffy .
  23. I'm certain OOZE will be pushing every coaching button known to win this one. But it it just aint going to happen! I predict we will be up and about tonight and get away to a flyer and go to a comfortable win. I would really like to see a blinder from Clarrie to show the footy world he's back to being the superstar we Dees fans know. I also reckon Kozzie will enjoy the big stage and produce some magic. Dees by 30 points.
