My interest is that the FD now seem to be happy with leaving the back pockets as a speedy running Nicholson and so far the super defensive yet long kicking Strauss and putting Tapscott on the bench suggests to me a forward of center or middle role for Tapscott. I for one am incredibly happy with this!

On such a topic with people who care so much, I think you guys have done an excellent job. Over-moderating takes the bite out of the discussion or forum that we have and it's fair that everyone has a say and that the majority of their say is heard albeit within the rules. So for that, i personally thank you and the rest of the gang. What I will say however is that just because you are a moderator does not mean your views are correct. Nasher I'm not having a dig at you personally however, some consider their high position within the board equates to their poo smelling sweeter than everyone elses. By your theory we put all our eggs in one basket and spend all our cap to keep this one guy when next year their window is still open and they take Trengove or Sylvia or Gysberts because we can't keep them. At some point you have to consider that losing him isn't the worst result. Of the previous big name moves Judd & Ablett, all 4 teams involved would consider that they won in hindsight; WC in particular when no-one saw it happening. I'd prefer to keep him too but there are bigger concerns than just the 31.

No one player is bigger than the club. I'm over all this crap about will he wont he go. Tom has been off the field hopeless to this club, after day 1 being presented the great Ron Barassi's 31 to today watching as his team-mates Trengove Sylvia etc go in to fight his battles in the media, I find it appalling what he has done to the great MFC. I understand more than anyone, the figure being presented to nothing more than a baby teenager and how tempting it may be- that is fine but the way he has acted has shown nothing but disdain to the club that gave him his big break. It is not an issue as to whether he is a liar or not, politicians and journalists do it every day; that isn't my issue- however he sat down in that media conference and said to everyone that offers were not being considered till the end of the year. Two days ago, everything changed and he disrespected Jim, Dean, his teammates and us as the supporters. I love Tom Scully as a footballer but give me my two draft picks and let's get two young footballers who want to play for MFC. Kruezer, Murphy even bloody Gary f***ing Rohan can sign for their crap clubs and our boy can't commit to Australia's best team. JV > TS

Ps for all as many may have seen a design jumper feature has been enabled allowing you to make your own jumper. I've created the demons round 1 jumper of dark blue with pink v haha so i have dibs on that. Fun to play around with so give it a go if you don't like your current jumper!

OMR is certainly talking his team up at the moment. By my last recollection, the last person to do that was Brent Harvey before this weekend and look how that turned out... It's amazing this game, has to be the only game in the world where 9 players can have 200 possessions more than the other team and still arguably lose!! I love UF and i'll be coming back with an increased knowledge next year. Whilst I do agree with JCB in some aspects I think what goes around comes around so karma will help you eventually. By your theory teams should be getting extra points if their player gets named sub and they didnt expect it. With sport and sporting fantasy games there are variables you can't control and must just roll with the punches! Good luck for the finals all. I hope all 16 are back next year!

Im keen to see with the new comp size whether the supercoach/dreamteam/ ultimate footy leagues get moved to leagues of 18. Also i agree I think all 16 teams have been exceptional in the sense of participating and interacting with the other coaches. I always take more note of the comments made by people playing UF haha

Tonight I didn't see it as a gameplan issue more of a player problem tonight. Every loss we have is thrown on Bailey and I personally don't think its fair. Our best players or lots of them did not perform. Moloney, Sylvia, Jamar, Martin, Scully and Jurrah were all down on their best and you cannot win games of football with 6 of your best 10 playing poor footy. Scully couldn't break his tag and no-one would help him... thats a player let down. Secondly, it wasn't Dean on the ground completely giving up in the last quarter it was the boys. Give him a break.

I personally don't have an enormous issue with them handing out pamphlets but to hand them to your young children is a disgrace and that is where your complaint needs to be targetted. That said there is a 'Deesbet' ad that goes up on the big screen at every one of our home games, so where do you start and finish on problems like this.. I dont know
