Training - Wednesday, 27th March 2019
Agree with this - his was the pass to Harmes from Gawn’s tap, which led to Weideman’s goal on Saturday. Also, he went back inside at a crucial time v Hawthorn in the Semi-Final last year, which steadied the ship.

Dees Need to be More Intimidating
Totally agree - it was a big part of our game last year, with a couple of exceptions - notably the Prelim Final. The sooner we get the swagger back, the better.

Demon expats
It was such a good place to live, although on my last trip back it’s gone pretty bobo now. Isn’t Palaiseau on the RER B, if I remember correctly? Easy trip into town.

Demon expats
Where in Paris, Bing? I moved to Oz 13 years ago, but was in Paris (10e - Rue du Fbg St Martin) for 4 years or so - still miss it.

Welcome to Demonland: Kade Chandler
I agree - he looks like a tough nugget, touch of the Vineys in some of those tackles.

A History of afl.com.au
The first game they covered was the Wizard Cup match between the Dees and St Kilda - the photo is post-match.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
If this transpires, it will 100% be on our terms. Freo are desperate and will need to pay overs. Hogan is one of the hottest key forward prospects in the comp, yet to hit his peak. If Freo want in, they’ll need to make sure Melbourne can get exactly what/who they want.

Optus Stadium
A friend was over there on Saturday and says they call it 'The Craypot' locally. His main take-out was that it was incredibly loud and reckons it would have been pretty intimidating to play in. Sounds like it will become a fortress for the Weagles in the coming years.

Pies Gone Past Us ??
Nobody has come from as far back as we have. Not even GWS as all their concessions put them way ahead of us. We were a broken down, basket case, shell of a club, which makes our resurgence all the more satisfying. This also means that we Melbourne supporters automatically have more soul than any of the others.

Casey Demons v Box Hill Hawks - VFL Grand Final
A bit soon, I know, but does anyone know if MFC members get in free to the GF tomorrow?

Say what you want, I’m proud of this club this year.
Such a disappointing way to end the year, but another building block to becoming a sustainably great football team. Boys will be better for the run.

Jeff White Article
Agreed - I think the club has made a concerted effort over the past year or two to reach out to past players and include them in the fabric of the club - as any normal club would do. I don’t think this has always been the case in recent times - especially when you think of how poorly James MacDonald was treated by the old regime.

Agreed - I think the club has made a concerted effort over the past year or two to reach out to past players and welcome them back as part of the fabric of the club - as any normal club would do. I don’t think this has always been the case in recent times - especially when you think of how poorly James MacDonald was treated by the old regime. Just another step on the road to being a great club once more.
