I really like the Hells Bells - there's the obvious connection to the Demons. The only time I've heard another club play it was at the Carlton game and I think they did it before the teams came out, as part of the build up. We should just keep it - doesn't really make sense for any other team.

They certainly didn't seem to want it as much as the Swans, who were ferocious. That attitude has remained from the Roos days - I long to see the day when Melbourne play with that intensity every week.

This is what is not getting much coverage - I have no idea if the compensation awards are made public, but it stinks to me. It could be seen by some as a way of staying in the salary cap, yet awarding players with 'compensation' to ensure they sign on.
