Robbie, repeat, anyone can shank a kick. Slight slipping of feet etc. Saw Jeffrey Farmer hit the post from a free in the goal square on one occasion. 10 metres out, straight in front!!!! Did you remember that?
-
Bad example the miss on goal from 35 metres out. He would have plenty of mates here from all clubs. Anyone can shank a kick.
-
Hooray!!

Showing your ignorance about keeping muscles warm before the action Yoda. No comedian career for you I'm afraid.

Summing up. I have seen great players like Barassi, Mithen, Williams, Flower, McMahen , Cordner, Spencer,Tassie Johnson etc, etc, etc, etc. I think I know ability when I see it. NO, I am NOT saying he was a good as those mentioned BUT he was a very classy player. The ball use is a myth started by the infamous Yze Magic. The gullible fell for it. 72% effective disposal for a career is good is it not? Top ten for a decade is not too bad is it? Game on effort for Bruce was 100%.You are a hard marker mate. BTW he was drained physically and emotionally every game. Another unfair and untrue comment that he was never tired after a game insinuating he had not put in.

It's quite strange people knocking Cam for wearing tracksuit pants before the action. Keeping legs warm on a freezing winter's day is surely clever and logical thinking. Swimmers do it, athletes do it without ridicule. All footballers should too but tradition prevents them. Or lack of individual thought.
-
Wrong! He was laughing at the prospect of Cam being a FITNESS adviser. The 'not tough enough' comment came later. Read Flemo56's comment again Yoda.
-
But then BB you could never accept Cameron no matter what he did on the field. I wonder if, with your single minded attitude you ever gave him Demonland votes. I guess in your eyes he was just useless. Sad.

You don't think Bruce was fit enough? No engine? Flabby and fat? He trained harder than most of his cohorts if not all of them. Why couldn't he be given a fitness coaching role? Some of our boys need to improve theirs.

Some bitter, twisted people on this forum. He was not only a great player, but a great person. I too, have met him on at least three occasions and he was really easy going and friendly. His loyalty to Junior and his rough deal had a lot to do with his departure as well as his being shown the door. Thanks for all those great games Cam. You never failed to run your guts out week in, week out. Hope the club welcomes you back soon now that Bailey has gone.

At least he could get the ball! I guess you had silky, sublime skills in your footy career but just couldn't manage to get the pill.( IF, you ever played at all). An important ingredient don't you think? You take a reality check pal.

Jack Watts to finish 3rd in our B&F. Brent Moloney wins back to back 'Blueys'. Jonesy second. Nathan Jones, Jack Trengove and Cale Morton to flourish under new coach Neeld. Dees to finish 8th and win first final only to lose the next one. Ron Barassi makes a comeback for one game v's GWS, flattens $cully and is suspended for life. We beat Sheedy's mob by 212 points to erase our name from one undesirable record. Rodney Grinter is appointed specialist 'toughness' coach.Wants to play against GWS but his wish is declined. Knocking out coach Neeld didn't help his cause. Sam Blease to show his true talents along with Jamie Bennell. Max Gawn to grow 6 cms to become taller than Sandilands.

Nik Nat top 50? LOL

The MFC website lists some interesting facts about our participation in our 18 GF appearances. Frank 'Bluey' Adams gets quite a few mentions but fact #101is that he holds the record for the shortest GF appearance. 'Bluey', was 19th man in the 1955 GF and raced on the field to replace an injured teammate. Such was his keenness that he collided head on and at full pace* into Collingwood's Des Healy. The impact was so severe that both players were knocked unconscious and took no further part in the game. It was estimated that Bluey's GF appearance lasted less than 15 seconds. A hard to beat record. * Adams was Australian professional sprint champion and his full pace was FAST!

Or shafted!

I'll go for Whispering Jack. He is very knowledgable and is so thorough with his contributions. Jack easily IMO. No, I don't want a moderator's job!

Fremantle surprises me. Melbourne should be higher certainly ahead of Adelaide and Essendon.

Now Collingwood know how the mighty Demons felt in 1958! I liked the banner in the crowd. 'Cats eat birds!' They sure did.

Credit to the Collingwood FC. A very genuine notice in today's Herald Sun in memory of Stuart. Shows how much respect they had for Stuart when he decimated the magpies in those far too long ago Grand Finals. Well done Eddie and C'wood board.
-
RIP Stuart Spencer. You were a legend with your courageous play and those beautiful, long drop kicks setting up yet another Melbourne victory. He kicked 5 goals in one GF which is not bad for an onballer. Condolences to all his family and close friends.
-
Yes, you beat me to it WJ. Full credit to Brent for his great attitude, ability and never say die spirit. He would be a worthy captain of the Dees for many years to come. Let's hope this transpires next season. Well done MFC champion 2011.
-
2010 and earlier I would agree with you wholeheartedly. This year I held my breath when he was shooting for goal. Just like we did when his mate Bruce was having a shot. Just suddenly lost confidence in himself I guess. Hope he can get back to being a 'dead eye dick' again. Not being captain would help.

I don't mind seeing junior on this forum. He was a loyal, faithful and hard working servant of the club until he was sacked. I really don't think he will be playing many games, if any for GWS.
