And what about one particular bone crushing tackle he applied against the Cats. Ouch!!!! I bet the Geelong player thought he had been hit by a tram. Gee, this kid is going to be something indeed. Yet many are saying that Petracca is even better! Must be bloody good that's all I can say.

I agree. Maybe jazza would like to nominate the two so called 'clangers'. I bet one is where he started to play on, then cooly handballed to ANB for a goal. If he had have been caught with the ball then that would have been a clanger but this simply didn't happen.

He did win their B&F one year. So he must have been fairly useful. -

Sure Jack played on, BUT wasn't he so super cool with that handball to ANB for a goal. He certainly is a prime mover in the thought department. Some would call it having a natural footy brain. -

I think we all are Jaded. I'm doubly happy though. I missed on putting my tipping in on time. (Forgot the bloody Thursday game). They gave me the AWAY teams and I scored just as well as my original tips. The big bonus was getting the mighty Demons right! Gained on most rivals here. What about Vince's Left foot goal from a long way out? -

Absolute ecstacy from our wonderful warrior skipper. Gee, has he earned this moment. -
Geelong at Geelong - why the injustice?
Bobby McKenzie replied to Curry & Beer's topic in Melbourne Demons
We did play them at the G last year and got walloped! It is very unfair however that we have to play at the cattery so often in recent years. Does not help a team trying to rebuild. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 12
Bobby McKenzie replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
You have hit the nail on the head here dazzledavey. Give the poor bloke a chance to show his true form. Very unfair if he is dropped after one game AGAIN! -
Reported that he did it during a spoiling attempt.

Not trying to be clever Wiseblood, but fractured and broken are exactly the same. Bad luck for Cam.
-
Very tough call.
-
And making it yet another visit to the cattery. In the last six seasons we have played Geelong at Geelong 5 out of 6 times. One solitary game at the MCG. Where is the fairness here?
-
When you think about it, giving away a free kick could easily be classified as a turnover. Confusing isn't it?
-
I agree with these examples but where in the hell are the other eight? So we kick the ball to Howe who marks it and kicks a point. They kick it in and with a chain of unbroken kicks and handballs score a goal at the other end. Therefore Howe's miss is counted as a turnover? Come off it jnrmac! Surely turnovers can be classified into two categories. Forced and unforced. Much the same as tennis has unforced errors and forced ones.
-
Repeat. Cite the 13 so called turnovers if you can Harrison. Watch the replay of goals scored and the chain of events leading to them. I'm buggered if I can see 13 Collingwood goals out of 17 set up by 'turnovers'. Don't like the term turnovers by the way it's a basketball term.
-
My thoughts exactly. This kid is going to be a true A grader.
-
Watch Garlett's second goal. The commentator said, "Lost his footing" which I guess is much the same as falling over. Should be a goal of the round nomination.
-
Watching the replay and the game I am sure that Jeff Garlett's second goal was absolutely brilliant. The commentators said that he fell over. I don't think he did, I think he deliberately propped to elude the guy on his hammer. What do others think?

Laxman was a beautiful stroke maker with perfect timing. Jack is a beautiful kick as shown by his long, penetrating kicks to a teammate. A very good analogy.

My 3 word player analysis v Collingwood
Bobby McKenzie replied to joeboy's topic in Melbourne Demons
I don't! Comment about Watts and Jack Fitzpatrick in very poor taste. -
Don't you believe that jnrmac. I would like someone to nominate the so called 13 turnovers that led to goals. Cloke scored most of his 7 from strong marking and one snap.

Who was your old man Beetle?
-
Actually in the last 4 QB games Jack has been pretty good. 2011 19 disposals 7 tackles!!!! Yes, 7! 2012 18 disposals. 2013 16 disposals. 2014 21 disposals. I don't think that this game should cause him to have nightmares.

Answer my question Clint. What do you think?
