Same. I kept an eye out for the reactions of the likes of Trengove, McKenzie, Scully, Grimes etc and you could see how much it meant to them, which was memorable to witness as a supporter of the club during what is potentially a historic period. Not that I'm getting my hopes up.

Had to pull this one up. Green also does 3 quite well imo. I won't hear a bad word spoken about Greeny's endeavour with or without the footy. Out of any player I feel most at ease when I see him in the forward line.

I love that this is suddenly a tough decision. Who would've gussed it after Round 1. Honestly on today's showing I think Bruce should be rested for Syliva. His first half today was horrible and for a senior player he is nowhere near up to scratch. Juice did just enough to warrant reselection up forward, just, and can provide some assistance in the ruck whereas nothing from Spencer has shown me that he's ready just yet. I'm keen to see young Tapscott get a run so perhaps he could go on the bench to replace Bartram. Bate needs to be seriously looked at also. Who makes way for Rivers?

I'd like to add that whilst it's unfortunate he ended the game on crutches, Tippett's kick for goal from 25m out on a slight angle was the funniest thing I've seen this season. Even Leigh Brown could've made a better effort of it.

Third from left looks more like Syliva than Moloney to me.

I like Freo because as a club we empathise alot with them as being the whipping boys of the competition for the past....well in their case always.

Scully would get my vote along with Bruce for players who were well below par today. There were a couple of instances where he hung off his player for seemingly no reason, and when he had the ball he held on to it for too long which is rather uncharacteristic for him.

Bruce is a mere shadow of the player he once was. You could've put your house on him missing both set shots he had today.

We still have some problems up front. Let's be honest, Adelaide were a shambles today. A better side would have put us to bed after we failed to take advantage of our possession. A big strong marking forward is desperately needed.

He was like a petulant child in the post-Staints press conference. He's incredibly arrogant and blunt in his responses at the best fo times, but he outdid himself this weekend. But I second the comments about what he's done with the list of players he'd had being a reflection of his ability as a coach - that is a very good one.

We dominated the midfield in the 1st quarter but not enough players i50 for us to kick to. Still tackling and chasing hard which is good to see but Adelaide starting to convert their chances.
