Watts. Blease has shown glimpses. Jones and Clark are givens every week.

Of the modern era we are absolutely the worst team I've ever seen.

I think we need to cut our losses with Neeld. Untested coach. Didn't work. Sorry, but it's not worth holding out if it kills the club.
-
I'm questioning Neeld big time. This is ridiculous. Trengove looks like a C grade plodder week after week. Make the game run in slow motion and he might do alright.
-
Yep, that'll do. Not letting this rubbish get to me again.

Moloney already looking disinterested. Just leave and take your attitude with you. We look like snails out there.

I love how hope springs eternal. While we like to wallow in misery here, it's the excitement of the pre-match threads that helps me stay motivated to keep tuning in for the inevitable weekend ruined. Anyhow, it does look a good and well balanced team on paper. That's all I'll say. Go Dees.

Pretty one-sided rivalry, results wise. In terms of young lists, the rivarly with the Tigers was/is of far more interest to me. Us suddenly looking like a medicore VFL side compared to them looking like a September AFL side has put an abrupt, hopefully temporary halt to that.

Tell me about it mate. I can't stand the smarmy [censored] under normal circumstances, but to hear him talk about a win against Melbourne as a given and know he's right....argh....
-
Brad Scott was the guest On The Couch this week. He basically said the competition was so even that with the exception of the two expansion clubs and Melbourne, any team can beat you on their day. I'd almost take just the one win this season as long as it was against North. But the point is, we are grouped with the two newcomers in terms of competitiveness. Below Port and Brisbane. We've never been less respected. The good news is, the only way us up.. baby.

So close!

Jose, I challenge you to post something without coming off like a sanctimonious turd. Okay, GO.

Scully's greatest moment is a Giant leap forward
P-man replied to jumbo returns's topic in Melbourne Demons
The underhanded way he went about it will never be forgiven or accepted but the decision itself suddenly isn't looking that stupid. I'll be at Manuka where they generate a genuine home crowd atmosphere for the Giants. What I originally chalked up as a gimme will now be me praying for a miracle. I think he'll play, so insult to injury. -
I was at the GWS game in Manuka, and both teams right now wouldn't just beat us, they'd do it comfortably. In Neeld we trust? Hm...a baptism of fire yes, but the early signs of his tenure aren't good. I'm more worried about the club this season than I ever have been. The feeling of powerlessness makes it worse. I've written to the club and signed up for additional memberships to show faith, but at the end of the day you just have to sit back and watch the trainwreck unfold.

It is absolutely an issue worth talking about and I'm staggered at some on here brushing it aside like it's nothing. It is a statement about where the players' heads are at.
-
Appreciate the positive sentiment, but dreaming. Will be another belting. We're a long way form anything at the moment, especially a win.

That was Nasri he was hugging, a fellow French international. They also played together at Marseille. One guy I did feel for was Shauny Wright-Phillips who is City through and through and contributed to this success that the team is now seeing. I'm sure he would've been able to share in some of the celebrations behind closed doors. I hope he was able to.

Long suffering City supporter. Still buzzing. Incredible end to an incredible season. Sergio - what a star. Barton - what a [censored].

Basically you're not alone. I sensed a change in me last night that was my spirit finally being broken. I don't see any hope of a win this year which makes me wonder why bother? Neeld treats this group like a bunch of caveman kids that knew nothing about football when he walked in the door. In fact he is quite vocal about it. How does that inspire others to follow you? He even treats them like children in the pressers for all the world to see. I'm losing faith in him and his game philosophy at a great rate of knots.

What is it you like best about the brand of footy that we are producing? Genuine question.

Moneyball could pass for an MFC biopic...in terms of the layers of crap. It sure looked fun to Watts and Martin up in the stands. Second week in a row Watts has been spotted having a jolly time of it while his side gets annihilated, although that criticism was labelled "pathetic". I guess at least Wattsy watched the game. Col Sylvia would've been out back watching his favourite DVD. Possibly Moneyball. -
6. Clark 5. Mags 4. Bartram 3. Jones

I am beginning to think this is the worst we've ever been. I can't see this side winning a game all year based on what I've seen if GWS and the Suns.
