Fatigue was a big problem. Our players aside from Howe, Jones and one or two others were visibly knackered after halftime. When you heap this on top of our other issues, it becomes a significant issue.

Personally I think Melbourne games should be switched from Fox Footy to The Comedy Channel.

Not a huge fan to be honest. Dropping Petterd is a massive call. One of the better tacklers i50 for a start. How Dunn gets the nod ahead of him I'm not sure. His pre-season form was actually pretty good. No idea what's happened to Russian the past two weeks. In fact his dip in form and confidence might say a bit about where the team is at as a whole.

I don't know why, but I'm starting to feel like we do have this.. All we need to do is get off to a good start. We do that, we win. This game will kick off our season. Bookmark it.

I firmly believe it's a lack of options or willingness to create options that is more the problem. Our disposal by foot is made to look ten times worse than it is because of this. Watching the West Coast game, a neutral sitting next to me was bewildered at the number of players at a basic stand-still. This was in the second quarter. Winning contested ball is all well and good but the players need to start working alot harder for each other once we have it. Watching the Hawks and Cats last night for instance, chalk and cheese.
