I have been in the members all year for demon games It is reularly full. Its the fullest that I have experienced in 20 years so the MFC is succeeding in translating MCC to Mfc which stands at aprroximately 25% of MCC members supporting the Demons

I attempted to watch PJ all afternoon on Sunday He seemed lost and unable to find the ball Perhaps he never was a footballer and we all expected to much What are OPs in regards to PJ on Suday and the rest of the season. Does he have a future remembering that Daniher refused to play Jamar for all those years and hence limited his development

I think if we win this Sunady we could win 4 Sydney Port Brisbane Bummers If we lose this Sunday its hard to see us beating any one unless we become more competitive It was always going to be a difficult year with our younger players and a group of older players who have rarely performed well. The next 2 years are going to also be transitional wilth gradual improvement evident. Any body who thinks you can go from 2 spoons to finals in 3 years in the modern football enviorement is not seeeing how difficult it is. If St kilda took 6 years from 2000 to be competetive why would the demons do it in two?

I agree completely The whole idea is a pathetic joke and its about time the MFC (Arguably the oldest footballl club in the world) stood up to the faceless organisation men and refused point blank ahla pies and bummers to wear anything but the true club colours Obviously there are currently no penalties in doing so so why not take them on! You want the club to stand for something then this will send a powerful message rather than just relying on spin and slick marketing campaigns as we have in the past. Well it would be really nice if it were a Demon player goal side in every goal square ruck but this is rearely the case we have given easy gaols in that location all year and all the training since hasnt seemed to help. It appears it is poor communication amongst players or lack of football smarts

I see no evidence that the Demons will win any more games this season in fact our attack on the ball and consistent tackling is getting worse by the week I am as optimistic as the next supporter but I must admit i am getting concerned again. Again we are missing the physical side of the game and look weaker than our opposition BTW can we lose those terrible white away uniforms

Make that 17 to 1 yesterday If the bookies are correct then where does that leave Dean Bailey It appears as if he has done as much as he is capable of It will be an intersting few months

It seemed to me other than clearances we still dont move the ball quickly enough from the kick in. Every time we did we put serious pressure on Adelaide and from memory once scored a length of the field goal.Im not sure what was worse, getting smashed at clearances or when we did clear the resulting kick was turned over or again and again or a hand pass to a team mate under pressure resulting in a turnover. BTW has any body looked at our complete inabilty to take a contested mark when it counts.I think we have an expectation well ahead of the reality.

I aggree completley reagrding Miller It is very difficult to judge his contribution Last few games I have attempted to watch him closely I have seen: 1) a very hard worker 2) a good athlete 3) a great team man with the required physical presence 4) most importantly a player completely lacking in self confidence and confidence in his physical ability Is this why he passes the ball off all the time?I really beleive he would shine if this was addressed in some way

Very exciting in deed I still struggle with the fact that the oldest football club in the world(sic) doesnt have a home ground. It should own half of melbourne real estate by now. I look with some envy at the $$$$ being lavished on Bulldogs, North, Richmond Western Sydney! Anyway im sure we will benifit greatly having modern facilities. Go dees

Brad Green must stay in the forward line for at least 2 years to help development He is the only consistent performer we have! He knows how to play forward! Does anybody know his contractual details?

I also travelled back into Darwin by bus and spoke to many locals about the game Demons have many supporters there and with good performances will gain a strong foothold in the north. It was a truely inspirational night with the indigenous program and Jimmy giving selflessly all night (even though he was tired he continued to give). If the team can emulate his spirit we will win many more games and gain the respect of the football world. Well done demons

Have been told by the MFC that the Pee- wee function has been cancelled This is disappointing as I am flying up Friday morning Can anyone confirm this function or is there an alternative? The club contact Melanie is away until Monday so I cannot confirm with her. Would like to catch up with Demon fans while I am there

I agree Surely the only real measure is the win/loss. I see another year of spin spin spin.Maybe the board is easily impressed by spin. We are not in the competition to make up te numbers or are we?
