According to Trent Cotchin Martin has now learnt how to pay a phone bill and he does it on his day off. God we really are advancing with these players -

They are nice photos though -
Who took Cameron when we last played them? Was it Tom or Colin. We only kept him to 1 goal.
-
Well watts if there is ever a time for you to stand up and prove your worth its saturday. Without Dawes our forward line looks really bad and im not sure if we will kick enough goals. At least Col is back. Geez i dont feel to good about saturday

The thing is Hird is a protected species and he could murder someone and people would still stick by him. He is the golden boy and butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. Its he he said she said type of thing. But why would the weapon go on tv and make stuff up. I mean he knows he would get sued big time. So why would he make it up. I just want all this over. Im sick of hearing about it. But by god I hope they are found guilty of something and there points are removed.
-
Now the weapon is going to tell all on hird in an interview with Like Darcy on ch7 news. is it sort of funny in a bizarre twisted way that Hird the golden boy is twisted up in a drugs saga. I guess we just saw him as a perfect footballer and an all round nice guy who could never do anything wrong.

Ah no. For starters it was 13 years ago. Different coaches, players and administrators. Thats just drawing at a very long bow -
The Tom Boyd Cup, Saturday 3rd August 2013

Sheeds will be talking this up big time to his boys about getting there first win. Apparently when they played the dogs he told them it was there grand final. God I hope we dont lose. Im pretty sure when we played them last time we held cameron goalless or kept him to a very low number. Hopefully Frawleys hamstring is ok and Col can come back in. -
Can I send my tickets to melbourne and can they refund me my money back for that woeful performance. I was not expecting that result at all today. My god we were awful. But heres a message to the AFL. If you want us to play a home game at etihad can you please do it either against carlton or even stkilda or if it has to be against nth do it in the earlier rounds. That crowd was pathetic today. Also it was shocking with level 3 closed. We were all squashed into level 1, no room to move, ridiculous for people with little kids who get restless easily and there is no space for them to move. It was a badly scheduled game. I wouldnt even know who our best was. Jones as usual just threw himself in, sylvia played well, dunn kept Thomas goaless, Frawley did alright on drew and Maxy battled hard.

No brazil world cup for me! All signed up! Was a no brainer! From Maxy's twitter. Love his sense of humour

2 10 12 1 26 0 2 2 1 0 6 Nic Nats stats 12 possies 1 mark 26 hitouts. People get so carried away with him taking a good mark or doing something exciting. A ruckman like him and someone who has his talent taking 1 mark doesnt help. I think even our two ruckman are doing better.

7615 at TIO Stadium was the crowd tonight. Was this more than last year?
-
justin koschitzke was pick number 2 as well. Im pretty sure he hasnt lived up to the number 2 pick

At parts it felt like neeld was still coaching. Our manning up was poor, we couldnt get it out of the middle and we still went down the line. Why should dawes run up near our backline to lay a tackle. If we got into trouble we didnt have support. I hope Col's injury isnt to bad. Fitzy was great and viney was his usual hard at the ball. But my question is when they showed Craig in the coaches box he had todd and two others. Where were our assistant coaches. I didnt see Rawlings, brown or royal at all.
-
That would explain why he has been so quiet on twitter. I have no doubt he will come back and want to play for us. The way I see it there is no point in bringing him back this season. Its not like we are playing for finals. Give him the rest of the season off so he can get the foot right and have have him ready for r1 next year.
-
It will be interesting because last time we had our chances. Hopefully we can make the most on Moloney being absent in the midfield and Brown in the forward line. Ah memories from a year ago when I was in Darwin to go to the match as well has having a holiday.

Reported on mmm before. Didn't travel with the team.

I love watching the state of origin and I think its the one thing that the NRL do way better than the AFL. The players love it and yes Im not sure that the coach from Sth Sydney wont be please he will miss Inglis for 8 weeks but thats the risk you take. You ask any player how much origin means to them and they will tell you everything. The thing is our AFL players winge about 6 days breaks. There are playing that played last night that will play for there team 2 days 3 days later.
-
I hope he stays. It would be a shame to lose him. I reckon he hasnt been signed up yet because they want to sign Sylvia and Watts first. Also would they wait until the new coach came in. It would be a shame to see him go after all the support and patience we have given him. Also on another note did anyone else read on the back page of the sports section of the H/sun that they mentioned the famous blazers and how they havent been since Schwab left. Mentioned some people at the club didnt like wearing it. Said they will look at the launch next year to see if they make a comeback. I don't think so

We officially hold the record for the least inside 50's ever. 19 we had today for the whole game. No wonder our forwards couldnt get it. Anyway we lost to a formidable team and a team like geelong should thrash a team like us. At least it wasnt 100 points.
-
Listening to it on the radio they are saying that dawes has taylor and bartel on him when he goes for the ball and has no hope of getting it. Is it still raining heavily down there?
-
Well if you said 10 weeks ago you would lose to the reigning premiers by only 31 points I would have taken it. I knew we wernt going to win today. There midfield is so supreme and classy. But Fitzy has come along in leaps and bounds. He has good hands and can take a mark and also he throws himself in to get the ball and acted as a rover in some parts. Terlich has been fantastic for us this year and again today he showed his class. DAwes pack marking is great and I hope we see a lot more of it. The only disappointing this was Frawley doing his hammy again. We needed him for next week against the cats. he has been playing good footy the past 2 weeks.
-
Try living with a brother who is a Carlton supporter. Thank god the storm game was on live last night. But I heard Greg Swan on the radio last night and he was talking about how they need good tall forwards. I sat there thinking about our great forward line next year. Hogan, Dawes, Clarke, Watts and Howe.
-
No way. Harry O can only play 1 position. A man that plays 2nd defender when double teaming and yes he can run with the ball, but if you put him one out in the goal square against an opponent he is found wanting.
