  1. Goody seems a calm person and I think that has a massive influence on the team. At half time last week after we missed all those goals they didn't panic at 1/2 time. He just got them back to the basics and structures. I think we can now cope with being favourites. They have that belief. Can't wait to see harmes on mitchell tonight. Hope he can stop him. By the way AFL can you do a late swap. Any chance you can take Nicholls off our game and move him to tomorrow. Heck Id even take razor ray over him. I did feel slightly less confident when I read his name as an umpire.
  2. Gee it would be great if we could see some of his talent on show tonight. Would love to see him kick a few goals.
  3. I feel a bit more nervous today than last friday. Im expecting Clarko to have his hawks up and going. This week has been virtually all baout us. We all know how good of a coach Clarko is. There has been a reason why that team has been the best team over the past 10 years. It would be great if we could get off to an awesome start like we did last friday night. Come on boys get the job done and lets keep this dream going

Harmsey was on triple m rush hour this afternoon. Spoke about being a dees fan growing up so was stoked when he got drafted. Said he idolised Travis Johnstone . Also said he was stoked when Jonsey kicked that goal at the start of the final term and so happy after the game that they won.
  5. Get around the show tomorrow morning Dees fans - we'll have ex-coach Paul Roos and current captain Nathan Jones on! That should be great especially to hear from roosy and nath on the atmosphere and how the game played out. Also apparently melbourne are opening a 1hr media session tomorrow, putting up every player that played friday night.
  6. I loved seeing the former players there. Jeff White posted a opicture with his son at the game, the wizz was there, im sure many others were there to. Goody was just on SEN. He is flying to perth because he said he has done so over the years just to see different finals matches. I wonder if he is thinking I better go and have a look in case we win next week.
  7. I agree on that part, he did some stupid handpasses to teammates under pressure but his tackling was brutal and outstanding last night
  8. Goodwin is about to be interviewed on SEN'S crunch time show. Should be in about the next 5 or 10 minutes I reckon
  9. No change. This team did the job last night. The ones that didn't play so well will be better off for the experience last night. Don't mess with a winning team. The 22 that ran out last night deserve to be there again.
  10. That Hannan goal I had to watch it off the big screen because everyone around me stood up willing him to kick it. It was just great last night. Just watching the highlights now.
  11. Love this image, the 2 captains walking off together. The only downside I had last night was I taped the storm final got home to watch it and it failed to record and I also taped our game and it jumps because of reception. But thats ok. I have the memories from last night.
  12. Good morning! How great does it feel this morning? Bloody brilliant
  13. I loved the scenes of Viney and Jones walking off arms around each other with massive smiles. Gee how good was Viney to. Awesome tackling game.
  14. Wow what a game and atmosphere. The members was rocking tonight. It was nice to sit around all Melbourne supporters. I hared Jones say it felt like an interstate crowd except they were all cheering for us. Juts loved the 1st quarter. It was great. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would kick the 1st 5 and hold them goalless. Loved Weidermans game. Brilliant marking and a handy 3 goals. Jetta was fantastic. He gets knocked, pulled, pushed but still gets up and gives everything. Jones, so happy for him that he kicked the 1st goal of that final term. Loved harmse's game. Enjoyed Frost down back as well, even Oscar took some nice marks. Just happy happy happy. Max Gawn is just the best. We are so lucky to have him.
  15. Im still a little calm. Even though we arent kicking goals they arent getting them either. We have kept geelong to only 3 goals until 3/4 time. We need to go back to our first quarter footy. We can win this. God it would be great if we kicked the firsg goal or two Come on dees!
  16. Bloodyhawkins never misses against us. Petracca do something anything
  17. Ugh! We did everything right but kick goals. Geelong will come back we know that. Our tackling is great. Just need to steady at the start of this 3rd term. Would love to see petracca light it up this quarter
  18. Wow what a start. Weiderman on fire. Now lets continue it
  19. Just got into the members now. Massive turnout which isnt a surprise. Jones, brayshaw and salem came out for a walk and everyone turned around and cheered.
  20. Got the double nerves tonight. The mighty Melbourne storm are on as well
  21. Finished work and on my way to the g. I'm not nervous yet but its weird to think im going to watch my team play finals footy. I got asked if could do a double shift tonight and said no way im off to the footy finals. I just hope our young players don't play like the hawks youngsters last night. They were like deer in headlights
  22. Scary thing is Riewoldt didn't kick a goal tonight. The hawks youngsters crumbled tonight. The tigs just applied the heat. Also if we do get through im fairly confident gawn could do the job on McEvoy. Interesting to see Goodwin and McCartney there tonight. I guess they are doing there homework just in case we have to play hawthorn next week.
  23. True, but gee if we play the hawks next week they will step up big TIME. But stratton already out is a good start. Anyway of course Rance's foot is fine. he is just invincible.
