Hey a message to the media and journos. I know Nic Nat is exciting and has this freakish talent and grundy can get a lot of hitouts but our guy just wanted to remind you all he can play to. Today Maxy did it all. He was up forward kicking a beautiful goal, he had 10 marks, 26 disposals and 24 hitouts. He went down back to help out and just played all over the ground. It was the complete performance. ps. Yes his goal kicking does sometimes frustrate us but that 50m kick he out through was beautiful to watch.

Good so we can stop the nonsense now. Goodwin has said Jones will play next week so lets celebrate it.

On Jones, yes he had a quiet game today but i'm backing him in next week. If we were losing then yes I'd say you have to look at his spot but I'm sorry this guy deserves to play his 300th on a big game and in front of a huge crowd. The thing is we don't need Jones to get the 20 possessions anymore because finally we have other mids that can step up now. For years this guy has carried us and he has been through the worst and stayed loyal. The players love him and have already mentioned after the game about it being his 300th next week, It would just feel so flat if we dropped him this week and what do we want him to play his 300th the week after in tassie in front of no one? Play him and the players can use it as extra motivation to win. He deserves it. Let him enjoy his moment as only the 2nd player to reach the 300 club for our team.

Ugh our ball use is so sloppy at times. What should be an easy kick to another player is turned into hard work. We aren't playing anywhere near as good as last week.

Terrible use of the ball when we go forward. We aren't putting any pressure on the Hawks when they bring it out of our 50. Just little things we need to fix. Maxy has been awesome but he really needs to kick those goals

Well I'm excited for today. This is a game we should win and we must win for so many reasons. Experts are watching us today to see if we go back to our old ways and lose the winnable games. I'd love to see Luke Jackson just clunk marks today and see Trac turn on another blinder. Lets get the win and keep our top 2 spot.

That was a great finish to the sydney/giants game. But gws should have won by having all those shots on goal. But it was good for us the giants winning. Hopefully we get up tomorrow go a game clear of the swans and keep on pace with the dogs. But Toby kicking 1-7 that nearly hurt them. The other good thing is the giants have gone past essendon and collingwood and pushed them down a spot each.

Wow that was some quarter. 5 goals to 2 behinds. Dom Sheed just went nuts. I know he is exciting but do the commentators sometimes go a bit over the top with Nic Nat. I mean Grundy tapped it straight to Nic who ran and bounced it and JB went wild like he did something spectacular.
