I thought that was Cross's worst game today. Dropped simple marks and fumbled. Again it was our 1st quarter slow start. We cannot let teams kick away lie that and have to play catchup. The 1st half was terrible and the 2nd half wasnt to bad. I thought we would have been blown away. Still a disgraceful performance. We missed a few easy goals and it would have been great if Salem managed to kick that one right on 3/4 time. Hogan v cripps for the rising star. Cripps took the points today. It just goes to show superstar players dont always make great coaches. Shaw, Voss, Watson and even buckley havent had the success as a coach. At the beginning when bomber left geelong to join Hird secretly I hoped it would fail. I would never have guessed it would turn out like this. It sort of funny the golden boy screwed up. The fans still stand by him well some, but if it was any other coach with the same results the fans would be screaming for his head. This is why im glad Garry Lyon never put up his hand to coach, because I would have hated seeing our fans bagging him and calling for his sacking if it didnt work put properly. I reckon essendon need to look away from past essendon greats to be there next coach. Look at Clarkson no association with hawthorn yet is the most dominate coach, Ross lyon is doing well at freo, chris scott coached geelong to a flag in his 1st year.

Great news. He is only 23. He feels like he has been around for a very long time. But its great to see him play good footy at the moment. I must admit I didnt think he was that good at contested marks like he has been the past few weeks. He has been amazing. Gawn: I've seen some dark times here but I can see an upwards trend... There's a long way to go but I can definitely see an upwards trend. Its nice to see some loyalty and a player can see a good future ahead.
