Fond Demons Memories
Carlton being pulverised 15 years ago.

Fremantle's 2016 season worse than Melbourne's 2019
Well that makes me feel better.
-
Will you renew your membership in 2020?
Yes. The club is more important than the players, coaches or administrators.

Get Izzy Folau
Is this a ploy to get god on our side?

Craig Jennings Gone at Seasons End
He also didn't give a rat's when Tom McDonald kicked the miracle goal at Subi so surely just 100% pure Stone Cold.
-
Where is the Frost apology?
Hopefully he survives until Round 1 next year because he was massive when out there this year.
-
Where is the Frost apology?
I agree, if you can catch him on one of the rare days where he's not injured.

Craig Jennings Gone at Seasons End
We'll always remember him coaching us to an AFLX flag

Living in the past
In 1884 the MCG grandstand that housed our goalposts burnt down. I believe the trauma is still being felt.

The Lever Trade
Based on our record do you have the remotest faith we would have picked them?
-
dumb club
The universe would do something nice for us for a change if we lost pick 2 via either our own hand or the AFL and pick 3 turned out to be the much better player. You know, like the time we tanked our hearts out to get pick 2.

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
Of course they'll lobby against it. And the AFL will pretend to be interested before doing whatever they want. We have zero influence so hopefully Adelaide hit the roof. The thing about Gold Coast is that they're no good, but they're a hell of a lot better than we were in 2013 (+1 win, +13%). The difference is the league is desperate to get them up and going so they'll treat them like the worst side in history and give them everything they want. They're also kicking a goal a game more than than us in 2014. What about giving them an extra pick after all the non-finals teams? I'm saying this out of self-interest but they've got to get something out of picks 1 and 11 and it's not disadvantaging the other pox teams in the competition.

Are we scarcely relevant?
How many second last sides have been relevant with three games to play? Caro still upset that her cheerleading for the AFL to nuke us after the Tankquiry failed.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Does he have psychic abilities to know where a ball is going to land when blindly hoofed out towards 50 by a midfielder not looking where he's kicking? Good player but in an era where the best full forwards kick 70 goals I'd rather try to broaden the mix instead of putting all the eggs in one basket. Would be nice to have somebody in a silly number though.

Martin Flanagan Talks Dees on SEN (30/7)
If the decision was made and Senior tried to intervene it would be the last gasp of the 2011 era boys club. Can't see it happening.

David King puts the Boot ? in
If that's the answer I'm terrified of the question. Meanwhile it's good to see King finally coming around to the MFC supporting experience two years after his famous "Melbourne fans, stop worrying, what could go wrong?" article.

CASEY: Rd 17 vs Sandringham
If Gawn (god forbid) goes down for 3 months yes - although we covered that reasonably well a couple of years ago without a real second ruckman. If we're clear that he's a break in case of emergency ruckman who might play two games a year if Gawn is fit then I can handle it, but can also see benefit in a forward who can have an impact rucking F50 stoppages.
-
CASEY: Rd 17 vs Sandringham
That's my point, don't ruck him for the rest of the year. Play him at full forward, kick it at him, and if he's not good enough to make something of it in the VFL then we'll know he's not going to do it in the AFL without further work.
-
CASEY: Rd 17 vs Sandringham
If Gawn is upright the tank is irrelevant. Can't hurt getting fitter, but needs to develop his forward play.
-
CASEY: Rd 17 vs Sandringham
Can't understand the point of playing Preuss as a tap ruckman against no competition when we know he can do that. It's holding marks in the forward line and kicking goals that will make him useful while Max is around. We run Casey now, let's use them to our advantage.

Future of the NT
What a ridiculous statement. Absolutely delusional about where the club stands in the pecking order of an overcrowded market.

Reverse Goals/Behinds Ladder
Give them priority pick of assistant coaches. Here, have some of ours.

Future of the NT
Last year the club made an operating profit of $506,276 and the NT games bring in a minimum $1,000,000. We are big time on the teat of this deal and are lucky the conditions aren't there for any more games or we'd end up like North and Hawthorn and selling 3/4 games a year up there to make quick cash. It's in a small part paying for increased footy department spend, increased salary cap, for us to take over Casey, dumping the pokies at the Bentleigh Club, fielding a women's team, losing annual Queen's Birthday hosting and probably sack a coach in 12 months. I don't want to play there but the reality is we're a consistently poor club that has relied on charity three times in 20 years to avoid falling into total financial disrepair. I don't think another Victorian club will jump in on this because all the other minnows are selling games somewhere else, and now that Channel 7 has their hooks into the Alice Springs games they're going to want a Victorian club hosting, but if the NT/AFL/whoever did the dirty on us and we lost this revenue stream it would be a disaster.

Reverse Goals/Behinds Ladder
Poor old Fold Coast still last.

Casey Fields ground issues.
Not as concerned about the surface as the wind. Unless the Western Oval is coming back what a shouse environment to develop players in.
