  1. Dude.. I remember Salem dobbing the winner and us surviving a Zaha-lead scare very late. We won the match. This is MFCSS at it's most pure. I totally get (and have purported myself) how much of a danger game this is but let's not get crazy. Over the last 5 weeks we have shown far better form than this mob and that's why we will get the job done. Part of me is scared, but a much larger part thinks we are going to smash them.. dare I say there is een the chance of a complete slaughter in our favour
  2. You must have him missing a few, I say 12 straight :D
  3. as you and others have outlined, based on the year to date, it appears as though we should be able to comfortably negate their modest midfield. The Vince/Viney/Jones trio has shown on many occasions they can limit the opposition's best mids while dealing large amounts of damage themselves. They've done it consistently against far better opposition than this. I have a feeling Hoges will enjoy a day of plentiful, quality supply to bring him back from the rough one he had last week. We should be right on top in this one.
  4. what you say is accurate in a number of games this year BUT there has also been many exceptions - all of our wins, and the losses to crows, pies and saints. That's 7 times out of 13 we have put in a 4qtr performance for mine.
  5. Agree totally There is no such thing as a non-danger game for us, we are usually the underdogs and on the odd occasion we are favourites (this is the first time this year, betting wise) we love to drop them. This is one of the worst vestiges of our recent history (it goes all the way back to the start of Daniher's tenure). If it happens again it will really hurt because it will introduce all sorts of doubt about whether we have moved up as a club at all under the new regime. Shirting myself
  6. What absolute rubbish suggesting we have 0% chance - clearly it is closer to 1%
  7. Jonah was a dude INSIDE a whale.. you should have gone with 'Moby d.ick'... close though
  8. What is the point in posting in a thread to tell people you are sick of the discussion. Just stay out of the thread in the first place.
  9. there it is again.. the old 'telling us what we're allowed to talk about' cops
  10. but that rest was BEFORE the concussion. I agree, but the pattern of the year suggests Roos rests players who aren't cherry ripe.. Jetta got a concussion and missed 3 matches
  11. Would absolutely love these changes, no disrespect to Stretch unfortunately though I reckon thre's a v good chance Brayshaw will be rested
  12. He was suggesting that JW's pretense of being oblivious to the cheating that was going on his body is akin to HS's 'playing dumb' when asked for his first name.
  13. Well you've ignored my whole point - which is that just because it has NOW turned out to be no big loss, it doesn't excuse what he did.... and it was still a loss anyway... of pick 12 and millions of coin... like I said.
  14. Well said. The idea that poor old Mitch needs to be 'protected' from our opinions about the way he treated our club is frankly laughable.
  15. What dreamworld do you live in? You mean he gave us his all right until the moment he knifed us in the back? FMD
  16. regardless of his mental health issues, the issue has always been that he did the wrong thing by our club that much is clear and always has been there is no way you would be up on your pedestal being mr.magnanimous if he was fit and firing and kicking 6 a week for the cats now that we've lost nothing it's safe for you to again change your sails and take this position but it will never change the fact he did a big number on our club and for that I am happy it has gone [censored] up for him don't forget we lost a pick 12 in addition to the millions of dollars we wasted on him
  17. Frost's injury was 11 weeks, 2 days ago FFS
  18. how often have you seen an out-of-form 'big name' player have a blinder against Melbourne to lead his side to victory too many times for mine
  19. He should have handpassed to his right where Davey was waiting for it, he would have snaffled it
  20. only melbourne supporters can be worried about an opponent that just got done by a tonne
