  1. I don't think we are going to get that signature lift we seem to get for the QB match this year. There is too much wrong with the club at the moment for that. I think this will be a 60-70 point loss. The Pies obviously agree
  2. exactly! 36DD why are you asking US for an explanation, WE do not have the knowledge of what is going on in the medical department, nobody here is going to be able to explain what Scully's preparation/recovery has been like, or the scientific theory behind it, WE are the ones who are asking THE CLUB for an explanation! You have it backwards!
  3. IT IS AN EXCUSE! FCS what qualifies as an excuse if having more than half your side out doesn't? We have key players picked out all over the ground and blokes that clearly should not be out there, obviously we are not functioning as we should, any side in the comp would be the same The question this thread poses is whether there is a tangible reason this keeps happening to us
  4. there is a thing called recovery, too
  5. So basically you are disputing that we have had a bad run with injury? You are going to sit there and debate me on that? You KNOW that we have, that is what this thread is about – seriously what is wrong with some people on here? I have no more informed background than you but I look at the facts and say it can’t possibly be bad luck only because to believe that would be imbecilic, simple as that When you also factor in the concept that our footy department expenditure is half some other clubs then maybe you can see the forest for the trees
  6. it's not just the fact that THIS season has been somewhat record-breaking in terms of injury, but the 3 or 4 before that sucked too. How anyone can ignore this and put it down to bad luck is beyond me
  7. we tanked precisely one game for precisely one player - Jack Trengove. Solid decision then for a solid result now
  8. I seem to recall making a thread exactly like this a couple of weeks ago. I was shouted down by some know-alls and the thread was locked by a moderator. 'Just luck' they said, yeah two-thirds of your side on the pine, sure it is
  9. no it doesnt, he has been labelled soft - in that situation Cale went as hard as he could and copped a most undeserved free, what are you bagging him for?
  10. i'm glad you are enjoying it all so much ever heard of supporting the club? you are a disgrace
  11. "For the Demons know, they won't always be so injured, or so young, or so bereft of physical players."
  12. that's not exactly brilliant, that means he would be about 8th on the ladder in his overall career... and as has been mentioned, he's had the luxury of the richest footy departments at his disposal... if he came here with our 'dimmeys' style setup his name would go right alongside Daniher and Bailey with you lot
  13. i dont know about ADC but all iver ever said about that is that something stinks and i have the feeling he's going, if you have a brain in your head you will realise that is not even a criticism of anyone just an observation.. see if you can 'catch somebody else out' as it seems that is a hobby of yours on these boards, maybe try talking about footy?
  14. its no laughing matter our supporters' unwillingness to stick by the club and the constant unwarranted criticism is really starting to pizz me off
  15. oh is that all he has to do that should be easy ffs injuries have ensured we will lose the next three, which means we will need to win 8-9 of the last 11 do you seriously think that is a fair expectation
  16. yep no excuses Moloney, Frawley and Jurrah are late withdrawls, three blokes from Casey twos are playing, still no excuses?
  17. This is a great example of cry-baby posting You'll tell us in great detail how bad the 1st qtr against WC was but apparently you had some sort of concussion during the Adelaide game and you don't remember a thing
  18. the rest is indisputable fact that an ignoramus ignores, you have the attitude of a simple thinker, that's all there is to it i can't wait to hear all the little girls crying tomorrow after we don't beat the 5th-placed side with 11 players unavailable. We'll probably lose in the last minute due to a diodgy free and there will be tears from the likes of you fortunately the club is made of more intelligent and tough fabric than most of its supporters
  19. bet ya someone else is the sub, Bailey likes this type of thing. We had a huge amount of late inclusions last year, I think it was a deliberate ploy
  20. thats rubbish, his 'lack of bash' is what is holding him back from being a dangerous player and it needs to be instilled in him pronto very interested to see what happens tomorrow when its 'his turn'
