I'm one of the people that have been saying that he looks like he could drop 5kgs. Over the past 12-18 months, I feel that he just looks too heavy. I'm definitely not saying he is fat. Hopefully you realise that there can be a difference between being too heavy (often because of muscle mass) and being too fat. To be honest, I think most of the "critics" of Petracca on here are of the same view. That said, I found your last sentence to be quite amusing. You say he is in ripping nick, which "shows how hard he has been working..." So do you agree that he needed to get in better shape, hence why he needed to work harder?

I really struggle with any player using the homesick card to get out of a club. If the day comes where a senior coach is lured by the "go home" factor, then the AFL world might as well shut up shop.

I realise that, but he's got an extensive history of breaking down. Jesse could go on for the rest of his career injury free, and good luck to him (personally) if he does. But I have my doubts.

I reckon GWS would feel like that Cambodian kid throughout that Scully trade. That's because we don't have another first round to use for May, and of all players on our list (that we could be happy to move on), Hogan is our best chance to get this done. This is my point - moving Hogan might net us Pick 5. That doesn't mean May is worth Pick 5, but that's what we will have to spend because we don't have any other option. So if we want him, that's what we pay. It's not that difficult to understand.

You're acting as though we have other options and are not exploring them. We can only deal with what we've got. We don't have a first rounder, and if that's what GC want for May, we're doing what we can to get one in to do the deal. We don't have a huge amount of bargaining power, and it's not as though we can just pull a pick out of our [censored] to make a deal happen.

Just reported on Trade Talk Radio that a deal for KK is imminent. Source was Craig Cameron from GC. Whoever the host is suggested our pick in the 50s would get it done.
