Yer sorry I'm talking about a future prospect (draft) rather than trading for injury prone players.

WATSON can be used in various positions and melb would use him similar to a drummond or maceski, he reads the play very well and very rarely wastes the ball. I think this is what we lack coming out of defence and off half back.

It's pointless talking about malceski as he is probably one of sydney's most important players. Where as I think Watson will be a great rebounding player off half back who can also go forward, someone we may look at with pick 12. He is a great kick and similar to drummond

There is a report on (sportsnews first) that there are a host of West Coast Eagles player maybe looking for a move in the trade period; Matt Rosa, Mitch Brown and maybe Ben McKinley just to name a few. Anyone think Melbourne may look into any of these players and what do you think we will have to give up for them? Interested to hear different opinions

there is no way they will let him go, they only picked him up a few years ago he got injured and wasnt able to break back into the team good player but not tradeable.

i like that we are chasing players that play in positions that we lack atm but in saying that pick 18 is to high, pick 34 i would say yes also sean rusling i rate if he can stay on the park, give em a 4th rounder that we prob wont use because theres no way they can be asking for anything more.

yer i was listenin to the same show by watson and maher they said that there is no way davey will be leaving melbourne and the psd thing they said i think meant that it would be no good for davey entering the psd because we will re-draft. i think we have him but still nervous, hope that stupid rumour at the isnt true.

well if wells is determined to join our club, and a trade cannot be reached, maybe he will slip through to the psd if hes not happy at north dont mind wells although very injury prone and inconsistent, i would say pick 18 and a player because he hasnt shown alot yet this would be more realistic!

seeing that davey has just about signed a new contract, i think that nxt year we will try n pick him up he signed a new contract last year for 2 years, but i think we might try 2 get him this year still (players not happy at essendon) lovett maybe; might have 2 give something good up tho

listening to sen today david schwartz said the rumours about davey leaving are untrue and both parties have almost come to an agreement for a 3 year contract; from schwartz mouth;

thought i would break some good news guys; haha colin sylvia and austin wonaeamirri have signed 2 yr contracts this is a postive sign and hopefully may help influence aaron davey to stay its on the demons site
