Hibberd Ruled Out of Cats Clash with Quad
Time for Keilty? Or could Balic play half back? Maybe not Balic for this game but trial him there at Casey.

Hibberd Ruled Out of Cats Clash with Quad
The thing about the possible selection of Wagner, is that he is hardly setting the world on fire in the twos.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Can see him developing into a Cotchin or Boomer Harvey type. Has that natural zip we often lack. Wait till he plays 50 games, will explode I reckon.

What the Fritsch
Young Robbie, bit taller.

My 3 word player analysis V Bulldogs
I thought OMac played a great game.

The Clarry Pass
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The Guy is an absolute magician. I can’t recall seeing that rare combination of being a hard at it bull ,combined with superb skills and decision making . A rare find indeed.

Wayne Carey
Have to agree to disagree there . The position is “Ruckman” and Max has more hit outs and more hit outs to advantage. He also marks very well around the ground and is more of a forward option than Grundy. Covers just as much ground. Many scribes have him not only as the best Ruckman but all The coaches rate him , currently leading the coaches votes and is a Brownlow favorite, being top three of most media awards.

Wayne also rates Grundy ahead of Gawn, and said to Lingy ,who is on the all Australian committee, that Grundy should be a certainty for all Australian Ruckman.

Changes vs Western Bulldogs
I’d love to see JKH get some reward for effort, but who to drop is harder. I love Spargo, but I feel JKH might get more if it and do more damage. Also might be less fumbly than ANB has been of late. If J. Smith goes out , Pederson could be valuable as a swingman , or do we have a look at Keilty or Baker?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
A lot of people see him as just an in and under contested ball type but some of the ways he actually gets and disposes of the ball are quite magical.

My 3 word player analysis V Fremantle
Fritsch looking tired? He was clearly a top 5 player and was gliding for mine.

Understand all that, but Jordan is looking more and more a liability every week. There comes a time with every player , that the game goes past him no matter how many games he has played or premierships he has won. Pity we don’t have Hunt available right now. We could do some reshuffling and have Salem or stretch instead of Lewis or alternate Lewis and Vince. Also if we can slot in Spargo and Fritsch then we can give Baker a run. I am willing to give Jordan the benefit of the doubt for a few more weeks, but how many more goals through him each game can we leak?

Jordan Lewis is a guy who was a champion mid at Hawthorn, but the pace of the game has gone past him now. We are hiding him in the backline, and he does have his good games, but he is too slow and seems to give up goals every week due to errors and undisciplined play. Id rather develop an Oscar Baker down there as we are desperate for some run off half back.

Ha ha yes binman , mainly because of his undisciplined play and turnovers, but he is not one of the guys who bought the smokes.

I don’t want to name names, because I care about this club and don’t want the media to get a hold of it. It wasn’t Maxy by the way.

Attitude is a huge part of it, just look at Richmond and how manic they are. Im not going to name names but my daughter told me last week that she saw two high profile senior players buying smokes at 7/11. How can you expect to achieve the ultimate if you are not fair dinkum?
