  1. Happy for him to stay on as a coach, but too many brain fades at crucial times for a so called”experienced player”. He looked really slow at times this year and unfortunately he ain’t gonna get any quicker
  2. Has has definitely been looking tired over the last three weeks especially.
  3. We witnessed something special last night. The birth of the new “Brutal” MFC
  4. DeeZee replied to Pates's topic in Melbourne Demons
    Weed continues to grow
  5. We all know he leads the league in goal assists, but he has proven to be “the difference “ and a real barometer player for us. He is a key ingredient , if not the key ,to our forward line functioning properly.
  6. Hogan hasn’t turned out to be the great full forward we all hoped he would be.
  7. DeeZee replied to McQueen's topic in Melbourne Demons
Anything less than an 8 week suspension would be an injustice
  8. Can see him developing into a Cotchin or Boomer Harvey type. Has that natural zip we often lack. Wait till he plays 50 games, will explode I reckon.
  9. A lot of people see him as just an in and under contested ball type but some of the ways he actually gets and disposes of the ball are quite magical.
  10. bit.ly/2HX1Dxg link here
  11. North will be all over Brayshaw like a rash. They have a lot of room in their cap and a first round pick on offer. They could offer him 650k plus and we would have to match it.
  12. It’s like comparing Hogan and TMac. Both have different strenghts, but compliment each other.
  13. Huge upside for Gus and the team. Playing in his rightful position in the middle, means Gawn Viney Oliver Brayshaw becomes an elite combination. Petracca, Jones, Salem and Hogan to rotate through there as well and we become really hard to play against.
  14. Is he does decide to leave we will be into this up to our proverbial. With the Vineys, close family friends, no doubt discussions will be had.
  15. Yes I know that but he seems to have attributes both have. Harvey was quick and great around goal and Mitchell had clever ball use in the middle. Both small yes, but busy small zippy player is what I meant.
  16. Reminds if a Brent Harvey , Sam Mitchell type. Something we lack. That busy little player always working hard around the packs.
  17. Tex Walker is really just a yobbo. If he was real captain material he should have led his side to flag by example instead of squibbing so many important contests on the big day.
  18. Spalding wasn't really that good , guys like Steven Tingay and Steven stretch in for Yeats and Spalding
  19. Yes exactly, when they talk about this years draft being shallow they don't take into account The state leagues
  20. Interesting
  21. I couldn't open the link , but where does Bucky rate Brayshaw and Fritsch?
  22. How does everybody know that Fritsch is even a target of ours?
  23. The people who whinge about us paying too high a price are probaby the same ones who complain that we always get killed by the likes of Ben Brown and Joe Daniher , Josh Kennedy and the like. Make no mistake, if we had him this season we would have made the finals quite comfortably. i guess they would prefer an untried teenager at pick 18 or something than a intercept machine such as Lever. At some stage we have to make a tilt at the flag, now is the time.
  24. Exactly! He is second only to McGovern in the AFL Make no mistake , this guy is a gun and will only get better as he develops a stronger body
  25. Even if we win a premiership the whingers will still whinge about what we had to give up to achieve it.
