  1. 6. Oliver 5. Gawn 4. Petracca 3. Fritsch 2. Langdon 1. Brayshaw
  2. Felt a little sad for Elder statesmen, Jones, Melky and Hibbo . But thatโ€™s the story of having a fantastic team, always some hard luck stories. Clayton Oliver and Christian Petracca are the greatest midfielders of the modern era for the MFC Gawn the best captain since Barrassi
  3. Oliver Petracca Fritter Jacko Kozzie Langdon gawn Brown all brilliant that quarter Joel Smith keeping Cameron quiet Salem seems to lack intensity
  4. Jesse career high contested marks. Hard to believe . If I had to pick one player from the AFL to join us it would be Toby Green
  5. Port are in the box seat to make the Grannie now, with a home Prelim.
  6. Dangerfield definitely doesnโ€™t look right, must be carrying an injury. I think they needed a rest , and without Toohey and Stewart are really up against it.
  7. Incredible night really, all well deserved awards, and hopefully the precursor of bigger things to come.
  8. I personally think Clarry is the best mid in the league , but I fear Trac and Gawn will take votes off him and make it difficult for him to win the medal. Having said that I put a nice bet on Clayton at the start of the season and will be riding him home. If not, then a Norm Smith medal will look just as good around his neck.
  9. Iโ€™m gutted I cant go and see my beloved Demons in the finals and so are my kids , but as I said to them, this team is good enough to have prolonged success and hopefully we will see many more finals back at the G in the coming years. As one of our recruiters told me in a private conversation a couple of years ago. โ€œ This groups got 2 , maybe 3 flags in themโ€. Tha gave me a lot of hope.
  10. Itโ€™s bittersweet not being able to see our beloved team in the finals after being long suffering. Iโ€™d go anywhere to watch them but it doesnโ€™t look like the various state governments will let us in.
  11. Our greatest modern day midfielder
  12. 6. Oliver 5. Gawn 4. Pickett 3. Langdon 2. Lever 1. Petracca
  13. We were , jumping up and down, shouting , crying, you name it! That was one of the the best Captains performances Iโ€™ve ever seen by Maxy. That last quarter was gargantuan.
  14. Gee I wish we kicked to leading forwards like other teams do.
  15. Our two biggest problems surface when itโ€™s against good opponents. Centre clearances and forward connection
  16. Looks like the umps have backed Geelong tonight
  17. Not impressed by either of these teams. I reckon Swans, or GWS could beat them
  18. Why not the Gabba again? Easier to get there than bloody Perth
  19. Iโ€™d go to Perth for a grand final but canโ€™t afford to quarantine, so that and the cost will be a big issue for supporters. Id rather a 50% capacity MCG with mandatory covid tests taken in a 3 day window before the game and shown before entry.
  20. So thereโ€™s some big ins in TMac, May and Viney Candidates to be dropped are Sparrow, Jordan, Melksham, J. Smith and Hibberd. Two of those will be safe unless they decide to bring in a Jones or a Bedford/Chandler. Cant see Weed getting back in now unless thereโ€™s an injury to a key tall forward.
  21. 6. Fritsch 5. Gawn 4. Petracca 3. Lever 2. Jackson 1. Langdon
  22. Maxy channelled Big Jim today.
  23. Good hit out really. Still things to work on and Iโ€™m certain we can go up a gear. The Fritsch magnet!!
  24. John Ralph just reports his own opinion. Nothing official about what he said.
  25. The Fritsch magnet
