Remember those fantastic courageous marks Grimes used to take in defence? He was continually flat footed today no spark at all. and Macdonald is such a dumb footballer, at one stage the ball was at his feet,and instead of picking the thing up, he actually ran away from the ball to pick up his man.

We are a team of slow B graders with poor skills and not enough hunger to win. When i think that guys with good skills like Petterd , Green and Davey are in the twos and we continually play turnover merchants such as Macdonald, Mckenzie, Dunn etc.

Ricky is one of my sons and I best players, Infact my son wears no.15 on his back. Rick is an ultra talented player, who seems a little heavy to me this year,not running on top of the ground like he can. Maybe he is getting over some niggling injuries, and hasn't gained full fitness as a result. When he first started with us he was a half back and read the play really well. I'd love to see him tried in this role again.

Just said on the footy show that Melbourne will not use their first pick on vineyard and are prepared to let him go to GWS. I think it's a ploy to stop GWS declaring its first pick for viney, putting themselves out of the race for a player who might be rated ahead of him.

Spoke to someone today from the AFL office and he said that Liam will get off with a fine and suspended sentence,which will make him free to continue his career. Said it was all about the big legal backing he has from the club, who are being supported by the AFL, as he is important to indigenous relations and giving hope to the community.

His disposal is too good...he creates more goals as a half back/sweeper/quarterback , than he would kick as a forward.

Either way we will get what we need to finish the puzzle , another topline midfielder to compliment Viney. Whether it be, Boak, Beams ,Stringer....i beleive we will snag one of these players...then watch out! I would probably prefer a mature bodied player, who can double as a leader on field. I am now completely over Scully and very content with what we have.
