I wouldn't take him back now after what he said about the tanking saga, but had he stayed he probably would have become captain ,been on more money by now, and still be playing. In the end he made wrong choices, going to Carlton,,saying silly things on tele...etc. Now he will not be remembered by either club as anything of note.

Not saying that I would have neccasarily chosen someone else, just that they ended up being a waste. Just another chapter in the story of bad luck we had at the draft for players that never reached anything like their high draft order suggested.

All he is to me is another wasted draft pick along with Sylvia.

It's Brayshaw and McCartin for me although I do like Lever. Brayshaw is likened to Sam Mitchell and McCartin a Jonno Brown type. Exactly what we need, as I don't think we can rely on Hogan to be everything, and Dawes operates better as a third tall. We need a good clearance play hence Brayshaw

If Petracca goes at one. I would take Brayshaw and McCartin because I believe these two have the bodies to impact sooner. Young midfield group developing together - Tyson,Viney, Toumpas,Salem,Brayshaw and Stretch. Hogan CHF and MCartin Full forward....because I don't really trust Dawes to hold down a key position, ( better as a third tall) he is too hot and cold and we need another option.

I doubt whether our entire drafting strategy was reliant on a deal for a player with major injury concerns.

Kennedy this year Danger next year. This is the type of trading that will make this club great again. Not waiting five years for kids to develop. Everyone thought Scully, Watts , Trengove etc...
