From what I've seen, and assuming Vince and Watts are fit this would be our best line up. Although a JKH, Frost,Newton,Fitzy, Petracca or Brayshaw could squeeze in for who ever is not quite right. Grimes Dunn Jetta Howe Mc Donald Garland Lumumba Viney Vince Kent. Dawes. Watts Garlett Hogan Jamar Gawn Tyson Jones Pederson Cross Toumpas Salem -

At least a couple of hundred there, Coffee,Santa,Club Mascot, snags on the barbie all good. I'm not going to say too much, but after being to three or four session this preseason, Tyson is all set for a big one as our number one mid along side Jones and young Viney to step up another notch as well, all 3 got plenty of it in match simulation. Hogan is absolutely going to tear it up, as he is the real deal, very fit and agile and big and mean...think Lockett and Riewoldt love child. Kent and Garlett will also be mainstays in the forward line this year as they just look the goods. Very impressed with Brayshaw, just the way he moves and his foot skills....just going to be a class player for us. My final mention is Lumumba, he will add good run from the backline and another big body charging it up in the midfield, he uses the full length of the ground and breaks lines. -
Jones bleeds red and Blue Frawley now bleeds poo poo colours
-
I'd keep Robbie, put Jimmy on the other end and have Jones, Tyson,Roos, Viney and Hogan in the middle
-
There's no one more Melbourne than Jonesy, ask any other supporter to name a Melbourne player and he would come first every time.

Watched him closely at training on Wednesday, and I thought he was the most impressive out there. Just gliding through every drill, and had a real presence about him, looked really comfortable and confident , very vocal too,in just his second preseason with the group, and first proper one since he was coming back from injury last year. Will become Elite, and hopefully the first of many in this exciting crop of youngsters, with Hogan, Viney, Petracca and Brayshaw to follow, possibly Toumpas and Salem too.

I stopped by for an hour this morning. Dawes and Jamar looking very lean and fit. Tyson looked like a bit of a ringmaster out there very confident and vocal. I will be very surprised if Petracca, Brayshaw and Frost don't get regular games next season, they do not look out of place at all, Brayshaw is a beautiful set shot....everyone was calling Petracca "Truck" Lumumba very encouraging to the youngsters Garlett showing his pace, looks pretty quick Hogan an imposing figure, very agile for his size

I thought he played with a lot of guts. -
Gotta feeling Kent is in for a really big year.

To be fair this is only Roos second year. First year was sorting out the wheat from the chaff. Now we have something resembling a professional AFLlist.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHRISTIAN PETRACCA
DeeZee replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm supporting Jabberwocky on this, too many on this site have that pathetic holier than though attitude. We are all fellow demon supporters, some peoples efforts to sound superior only drags them down to school yard level. -
Watts was there at the start with Riley and Mckenzie doing handball drills, and then they went inside after about twenty minutes.
-
Brayshaw and Petracca do look ready made, not much between their bodies and some of the senior guys.
-
Jones, Viney and Toumpas finished first in the run around the Tan this morning.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - ANGUS BRAYSHAW

A player is going to be good one day. -
I'm still a fan of the Gawn and Fitzy combo. Fitzy has really good agility and speed for someone his size and Gawn is a good tap ruck an with an excellent mark on him. Still both very young as the really big blokes take time to develop, but I see plenty of improvement on them both as they mature and plenty of up side.
