That's why you sign them up straight after birth while the wife is still in the hospital. Come back with a baby size Demons jumper and scarf. Deal done.

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised

Another Koschitzke? I'll never forget watching Schwarz interview him on some footy show and he just collapsed next to him. Scary stuff. Then a week later he crashes into an umpire playing VFL -
The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised

Something that shone through in the saints game was how good his vision/playmaking ability is. His possessions can really open up the opposition to create space for his teammates and he does it with a very attacking mindset (ie always looking to move the ball forward into dangerous position). I'm loving watching him play at the moment. -
People honestly need their heads read. Yep, a young guy on a few hundred grand a year, a young footy player no less, is gonna have trouble getting a ticket to a music festival. If people seriously believe he bought a ticket in advance and suspended himself on purpose then you need to go see a shrink

We also almost rolled over against Carlton last week and have been losing key players left right and centre. Not saying we won't be looking good, our midfield should keep us in most gAnes, but I won't be counting any chickens just yet
-
Watts was immense on the weekend, he had a deal determination about him.
-
Dude you may want to remove this post - you were meant to be working Saturday remember
-
Seriously anyone finding outrage in this needs to get some fresh air (and perspective)
-
We could also go in 4-6 if we lose the 50/50's.

I thought our defence was immense today, repelled everything and shut down a lot of Geelong's rebound attempts. We let then score easy goals when they got out the back or around the edge of our zone but they did the job well were just let down by our forwards who couldn't capitalise on our mid/defence dominance.

Freo looking odds on to roll the Dogs at the moment. Lucky us to play them when they get back into some form
-
Yea ANB was really good today. I thought Harmes did well too, don't understand the knocks he gets

In the 1st quarter we kept bombing it in and their spare man just swept across taking easy marks. After that we lowered our eyes and and played on our terms and we killed them. Our forward line worked well, we spread it around and remained unpredictable. If we have converted even half our easy missed set shots we would've been up by 5 goals at 3/4 time and likely win the game Hogan was a big miss though he usually plays well at Docklands and his presence was sorely missed, especially after Gawn went down and Watts had to play 1st ruck. Watts was fantastic today, that goal he kicked from the centre square was immense and his work in the ruck was really good. He just ran out of puff in the end like a lot of our guys
-
Weideman probably needs to go back and spend some more time at Casey. Can't really get near it and especially with Hogan and Gawn out can't afford to carry him up forward.
-
And get rubbed out?
-
Exactly should've put them away before the last quarter.
-
Yep we outplayed them all over the ground just couldn't convert. Very frustrating we've given away 4 points here.
-
Similar to the Swans team last night, lots of you guys guys in can too the balance, especially when a lot of the mature guys are just good, not great.
-
I just sung them the theme song every day and every night since they were born, especially on match days. Now my eldest just breaks out into Grand Old Flag randomly throughout the day and the youngest does whatever the oldest does.

TEAM SELECTION AND MATCH PREVIEW - ROUND 3
Dr. Gonzo replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yeah they had Stanley last week too. Was more for boundary throw ins and around the ground ball ups they showed it on 360 when Scott was on on Monday -
TEAM SELECTION AND MATCH PREVIEW - ROUND 3
Dr. Gonzo replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Interesting tactics cats used last well letting the Kangas go up uncontested in the ruck wondering if they'll do the same this week. If they do we really need to take advantage - no use tapping it to the feet of the contest and letting them have a plus one around the footy -
They have to change it to protect poor clubs, at least for earlier draft picks. 2+1+1 contracts for draftees so clubs don't get stuck with a dud for 4 years if they draft a Lucas Cook.

I think it's clear he's not enjoying his footy. Physically he should be fine mentally he is shot

TEAM SELECTION AND MATCH PREVIEW - ROUND 3
Dr. Gonzo replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
The cats just seem to match up well on the dogs. Dogs supporters didn't want to face cats in September
