Not a chance we get round 1 comp for him, we'd be lucky to get any compo for him at all.

Does/can Weideman pinch hit in the ruck? I'm assuming he's going to have to unless we've earmarked Frost for that role down the track.

Yeah the clip indicated he would drop his eyes more than Sylvia or Moloney used to.

Depends what you mean by elite user? I think the last few years has shown us that poor disposal in today's game kills you on the rebound. I also think elite decision making is a key component of the modern game and this could be part of being an elite user.

Drink driving is stupid, I've never done it but I have lost my licence for speeding before when I was younger - also got done running a red light (not at an intersection) and no Ps at the same time. It was stupid but it didn't define my character.

Thanks for sharing this mate. I'm thinking (hoping) Salem will see more time in the middle this year so maybe he can replace the role on the HBF. Although setting up the play from the back half is such an important part of todays footy maybe they want to settle with Salem there? I don't know, he just seems to talented not to play a greater amount of time through the middle.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JOEL SMITH

I agree and I think it's also because the presentation and analysis is far beyond anything seen in the AFL. Compared to real pro sports the AFL is still amateur hour.- Delistings/trades at end of the season

How could anyone not be discontent with what has gone on there for the last 3 years especially if half his team-mates get suspended for a year or two.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
Looked what happened last year with Ryder/Port. Where there's a will there's a way, especially if Zaharakis can pull the "safe work environment" that Ryder did.BTW Zaharakis is not one of their 34 druggies.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
In addition to Gold Coast, I reckon Essendon players may be ripe for the picking and they will probably want draft picks while going through a rebuild. Obviously some of them you wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole due to impending WADA sanctions but I reckon we should have a crack at Zaharakis. Is quick, can win the ball and can kick goals. If someone like Prestia/Treloar is out of the question I wouldn't mind going after Zaharakis - surely someone like him would want out of that place.- Demon Cheersquad, Late 80's
He was sitting near me at the top of the old Ponsford Stand at the 2000 GF - couldn't believe someone who had sat in the first row for every game since I could remember couldn't get a better seat!- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHRISTIAN PETRACCA

Don't worry too much I get the feeling we'll have another early pick next year we can use to draft and develop our own star. - Darcy Parish
