I don't know that we stole it. It was a tough game start to finish. They got off to a flier then we dominated from midway through the first to about midway through the 2nd. They wrested momentum back when Gawn and Oliver had a rest in the 2nd. We withheld some heavy attack from them in the 3rd then put the foot down at the start of the last. Esava going off for a period was key but Oliver started dominating around the contest in the last. They were missing Powell-Pepper and Horne-Francis but May was out for us. I think it was just a great 59/50 game and we came out on top as we had the grit for a bit longer. If it went another 5 minutes they may have got over us but thems the breaks.

So much better, our forward line is less congested which leads to less stagnation there and allows our crafty forwards and bustling players to get to work.

ANB take a bow Clarrys last quarter was immense Windsor is an absolute jet, that goal 😲 - thank you Freo 😂 Lever and TMac stood tall with May out and Petty moved fwd in the 2nd half Congrats Jack on a great milestone win - I think the players were especially happy they got it done for him, he is the definition of a heart and soul player.

Disagree, it's bringing the ball to ground and not letting Aliir and Esava take the intercept marks.
-
Get Kozzie around the ball
-
And Roo to step up. He needs to start clunking some marks, or just making a contest to bring the ball to ground.
-
Because they're flooding back
-
It was a great goal by Viney but setup from Nibbler's creativity. He's such an under rated player.
-
I would go hard for Thilthorpe, he'll be injured most of this season so could be a bit under the radar. He offers a good backup rick option as well.
-
Unless we get a godfather offer or another key forward coming in we should hold him to his contract. Even if we end up getting less for him at end of 2025 it gives us two more years to have a crack at a flag with him while Gawn, May, Viney are still around. You gotta strike while the irons hot, no point planning for the future when now is the time to win flags.

I don't see it with Laurie

Can you imagine a world without Collingwood?
-
Collingwood but West Coast and Sydney not far behind. Essendon would be 2nd but they are a joke and have been for 20 years.

Sydney complaining about Essendon tactics off the ball...
Dr. Gonzo replied to Ouch!'s topic in Melbourne Demons
Isn't that why they brought in the 4th umpire? -
I used to have buffering issues on android tv but apple tv was fine, since last year it seems the reverse, quality drops/buffers on apple tv but android tv app seems pretty reliable (though was a bit blocky early in the Dogs game).

No ads, siren to siren - except for the crypto ads during the 4 score reviews each quarter 😉

It would force teams to go man on man because total zone defense would become close to impossible with the grass needed to be guarded greater than the ability of players to make the next contest.
-
They could help this by reducing the number of players on field to 16, 15 or even 14. Would reduce the congestion we see too. They won't do it though.
-
Those meaningless match sims will just occur a week earlier
-
Maybe it is better but it's just marginal so hard to tell? I guess there was more definition in the grass etc but the actual game it was difficult to see much difference. Maybe if I had a bigger tv I think mines 55"

Sony tv app Edit also apple tv but that's on an older not 4k tv

So are we likely to get an answer on the salary cap situation any time soon so we can start our list management strategies and potential targets to chase for next offseason? Or will the AFL keep us guessing til the last minute and pull a decision out of their [censored] which is their usual MO?
