  1. Win a flag has to be on there - longest drought now that the Doggies won

He also handballs in space in front of his teammate rather than to his teammate which allows then to run on to the ball in space in continuous movement

    More like a potato

We were talking about Josh Kelly in the thread, ironically enough, titled "Josh Kelly"

You mean like Hogan? Not many potential superstars will sign longer than 2 years unless they get an offer they can't refuse. Would be stupid to - imagine settling for $600k/year and knowing you could have got double that in years 3 & 4 if you signed for 2 instead of 4 years.

Josh Kelly is not a free agent.
  7. That would be awesome MT look forward to it
  8. We would've had to have been pretty ignorant to not see the writing on the wall, or at the very least factor it in as a possibility.
  9. We knew going in that would be the case. I don't think Essendon are doing anything wrong here, they want this year's 2nd we want to give them next year's because we already gave away our 1st this year. Both clubs are trying to get the best deal, no one's being difficult it's just the way it is. We may end up giving them next year's 2nd but with a swap of later picks this year or some other sweetener thrown in.
  10. Dunn and next year's 2nd to the Lions for a 2nd this year? (Dunns not a FA is he?)
  11. That was a Queens Birthday game - I was only 7 at the time but went with my dad who had got some kind of corporate tickets I think because we were sat up the top undercover near the coaches box on a crappy Melbourne winters day. The ground was a mudheap but we beat them pretty convincingly from memory with Garry Lyon starring. I think I scored the Monday Night Replay of that game a couple of years ago.
  12. There's one that's missing from your list Win the premiership
  13. Well that's not psychotic
  14. What a change to a few years ago when Melbourne Storm players used to laugh at our approach to gym work.
  15. It's part of the reason we turn the ball over too often and fail to take advantage of transitions across the ground. I was talking with my brother on Sunday and saying the reason you transition is to open the game up, create space and move the ball forward quickly into space so teammates can run onto the ball and move it down the ground. If you kick backwards/sideways then wait too long and just chip it around then transitioning is pointless and you may as well just bomb it down the line.
  16. Don't tell me he's in Perth!!!!
  17. Great post - how anyone can question his workrate with the amount of ground he covers is beyond me. Sometimes I wonder whether I'm watching the same games as others.
  18. It's unfathomable, this guy is the greatest talent I've seen at the club with the exception of pre-knees Schwarz. Are people just trying to pre-emptively talk themselves down from a ledge in case he does the unthinkable and decides to leave?
  19. Smashed it today, clunked marks from everywhere, nailed his shots, played with aggression and even Hulked Up after his goal in the 2nd.
  20. I agree with this logic but am also wary that it is the same logic that brought us undone under Bailey.
  21. Bwahaha what a horrible ridiculous article OK mate - Hogan runs his opponents into the ground going up and down the field all day yet he doesn't work hard? What a knobhead.
  22. Sorry mate, can't figure out how to link the interview on its own - was more linking to the article anyway
  23. He's been better this year than people give him credit for, especially since being allowed to roam up the ground and use his strengths instead of plonking him in the goalsquare and trying to turn him into Plugger 2.0
  24. http://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/jesse-hogan-on-track-to-better-2015-output-after-another-starring-display-for-melbourne/news-story/861c3e28baf69de23a86bf700107eb86
  25. Only goals are reviewed I think cos there's a stop in play. Reviewing points would take too long and stop a team from kicking in.
