  1. A million a year is probably unders by the time the next CBA is announced.
  2. Cripps now favourite but I've still got faith in Hogan. Fyfe/Hogan double now paying $3.85 pretty tasty.
  3. Want to triple your money? Fyfe for Brownlow into Hogan Rising Star paying $3
  4. Seriously this guy is an absolute beast. He'll be one of the stars of the comp in a few years - and he's ours! He bloody ragdolled that sook Thompson today, one of the premier defenders in the comp. Will be dominating games Carey style in a year or two. And with Gus and Petracca feeding him the footy it's gonna be bloody formidable for other teams. None of this guarantees anything of course - look how the Saints went with Plugger - but it gives us a bloody good start.
  5. Surely it's the easiest way around to double your money. Couldn't believe he was still paying $2.15 last night.
  6. NFL

I agree and I think it's also because the presentation and analysis is far beyond anything seen in the AFL. Compared to real pro sports the AFL is still amateur hour.
  7. I agree, although I'd say it's his 3rd bad game in the last month (Pies, WCE and Bombers).
  8. Assume autocorrect
  9. How could anyone not be discontent with what has gone on there for the last 3 years especially if half his team-mates get suspended for a year or two.
  10. Looked what happened last year with Ryder/Port. Where there's a will there's a way, especially if Zaharakis can pull the "safe work environment" that Ryder did.BTW Zaharakis is not one of their 34 druggies.
  11. In addition to Gold Coast, I reckon Essendon players may be ripe for the picking and they will probably want draft picks while going through a rebuild. Obviously some of them you wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole due to impending WADA sanctions but I reckon we should have a crack at Zaharakis. Is quick, can win the ball and can kick goals. If someone like Prestia/Treloar is out of the question I wouldn't mind going after Zaharakis - surely someone like him would want out of that place.
  12. Hey I loved Allen Jakovich
  13. He would've kicked 10 yesterday if we were able to get it down to him with some kind of efficiency without handballing in circles a million times and turning it over consistently. He had to roam up to half back to get the ball on a few occasions because our inept defence/mids couldn't clear the bloody thing.
  14. Frost continually worked him under the ball and he wasn't able to counter. It wasn't helped by us continually bombing the ball on top of him instead of putting it out in front. He'll learn, he'll get better.
  15. He was sitting near me at the top of the old Ponsford Stand at the 2000 GF - couldn't believe someone who had sat in the first row for every game since I could remember couldn't get a better seat!
  16. I've got a feeling he'll relish the big stage.
  17. Matthews is an idiot.
  18. He's already so strong, imagine when he gets more muscle definition in his chest/upper body. He's going to be an absolute beast. He has such a great tank for a young KPP as well, he covers the ground extremely well. He is the first player I've been genuinely excited about for some time, probably since 1994 Schwarz. Others like Farmer had X-Factor but this guy is the complete package.
  19. What did he actually say? I didn't hear it on the replay
  20. He certainly makes my star rise...wait, what?
  21. Hopefully only a fortnight away!
  22. He already knows how to use his body brilliantly. A number of other players could take lessons from him.
  23. He looked on in the first 10 minutes, unfortunately the ball didn't get down his end for the next half an hour. He will rip a game apart at some point this year and I want to be there when it happens.
  24. You weren't around to witness the great one? I was there, I saw it with my own eyes and I assure you, he was every bit as great as the legends say. I remember a quote from an opposition coach after he had decimated their side, I think it was Schimmelbusch after Jakovich kicked 11.8; he said "he's in the middle of a purple patch right now, and it's pretty purple". We've had these freaks come along over the past 20 years but their flame has burnt out far too quick - Jakovich from 91-94, Schwarz 92-94 and Farmer 98-2000. Hogan looks to be the next level and let's hope he can rip up the G and put the fear of God into opposition defence and supporters for the next 15 years in the red and blue and help deliver that long elusive cup back to the home of footy and the club that created it all.
