Power Clubs have Training & Social Facilities Together

Thankfully you can relive them all new and improved with DV8 -
Not to generalise or anything

I hope so - it seems GA, AFL Members and MCC reserved seats are mostly sold out so the only spots left would be Melbourne membership reserved areas and MCC walk up. I bought my tickets weeks ago, bottom level southern stand wing and I'll be cheering and hopefully giving it to the Richmond supporters around us as we tear them apart
-
Anyone who can go but chooses not to is doing a great disservice to the club. If we want these blockbusters and to be treated like we matter by the AFL then it is on the supporters to actually turn up and support. We need to get over 80k, preferably over 85k again.

At least we're not Sydney https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2018/apr/18/vegemite-on-toast-gets-deconstructed-and-the-internet-is-not-happy

The zone is either side of the man on the mark but not behind. As long as the player is slightly behind the parallel line of the mark when the player with the ball plays on it's fine.
-
I don't think our first 3 games were "poor" so we'll have to agree to disagree.
-
Viney is not our best player but he is easily our most important. Hopefully he is back sooner rather than later. TMac is a massive loss too, every team has players missing but having these two out after Gawn and Hogan last year is a massive kick in the balls.
-
Tiresome and distracting for who? You? Seriously people, one poor game and the rain clouds don't stop rolling in.
-
As far as I remember, yes that first year in the VFL does count. Similar for GC/GWS 17yos who couldn't play but we're contracted to the club.

The momentum seemed to change when Max missed that goal from almost exactly the same spot as the one against the Cats. McEvoy got into his ear before he kicked it and he just couldn't drill it to get the monkey off the back. After that the Hawks seemed to go up a gear like they knew they had us mentally and we went backwards. Our pressure and run was great early then we just stopped. We'd switch the play and none of our players would be running hard to push across. Was too reminiscent of years gone by. As always I'll wait and see how we respond. I had us losing this and beating the Tigers. Although I didn't think we'd lose like that and Richmond absolutely demoralised the Lions so the next game will be interesting .

Best part of today was my 5yo son made us leave at half time as he saw the Hawks mascot sitting near us in the crowd and it freaked him right out. So I missed most of the 2nd half debacle.

I bloody hate Hawthorn. This brought back all the worst memories of playing them over the years, 1 goal in 3 quarters in miserable conditions. Yuck

Probably looking for a similar MCG deal that Collingwood have (minimum 17 games, whole Ponsford stand reserved for both home and away etc)
-
Today's Age article indicates we're getting something for facilities but not sure if this is just Casey. Also with new MCG deal tenant clubs should get around $170k extra per home game, so for us about $1.2-$1.3m per year. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/inside-story-how-the-mcg-won-the-grand-final-for-the-next-40-years-20180413-p4z9jq.html But the MCG returned serve with an offer of about $8 million each year for its tenant clubs, roughly guaranteeing an extra $170,000 for each tenant club and every home. The only Victorian clubs overlooked in the complex multi-stadium deal were Essendon, whose government submission came in late, North Melbourne and Richmond. Hawthorn, which spent much of 2017 in an administrative black hole and is still finalising plans for its new Dingley home, did not apply.

I was one who was very vocal about his round 1 selection but he's been decent since halfway through that game. Hopefully with more games comes more confidence as he settles in. Would be great if he can make it as a regular senior player.
-
We need to get to a baseline of 50k hopefully finals this year will help that.
-
I booked my AFL membership tix as soon as they went on sale got M16 or 17 I think about 10 rows back for 8 of us.
-
Hypothetically - IF he sought a trade at the end of the year what would we want for him? I'd be wanting a mid-late 1st round pick but other clubs probably would be looking at a late 2nd rounders. Depends who was interested I guess.
-
Ponsford stand is all Collingwood reserved areas for all their MCG games (home and away). So those empty spaces are due to Collingwood supporters no showing.

There was 85k last year and 88k at ANZAC Day. There was steady rain for both games from memory.
